Bahco4-188-06-2-0 Double X-Slim Taper Files, 6-Inch, Single Cut

Extremely aggressive cutting file, makes saw sharpening a lesser chore. I have always been frustrated by poor results when sharpening handsaws; it turns out I didn't realize how inferior my files were. Can't speak to longevity as I just used it for the first time, but I am very impressed with this file's performance. At this point I would highly recommend.

I use the files for sharpening hand saws. The quality is good, but the price for only one file is high.I will not order these again unless this changes.

I got this file at the recommendation of Paul Sellers, the traditional hand-tool British woodworker, who recommends it highly to sharpen saws and scissors. It works like a dream. I even used to the flat edge to put a new secondary bevel on a kitchen knife, and I could not be more pleased with the results. I have tried many brands of files (old Nicholsons, Vollorbe, Pferd) and this is one of the best for sharpening.

I would have given this item a five-star review but for the misleading way it was sold. The title says "files" and the picture shows multiple files in a neat grouping. Other sellers have a single file or even a file with handle for less money. Having said that the file itself is high quality and will sharpen saws nicely.

These are very fine files, for sharpening 11-12 pt saws, my only complaint is that the picture on Amazon shows a box of files, and for this price you just get one...

order description shows a pack of items and discribes order as files as in plural but only one file was in delivery box what happened to missing items?

The picture has a number of files and the wording uses the plural, “files”, yet I received only one file. Misrepresentation or a rip off!

For goodness sake.If you go to the Bahco website you will see that this rare three square 6 inch version has the stock photo with the 10 files.This is a 5 star product all day long.

Una curiosità: ottima anche per l'affilatura di punte forstner piccole e punte per legno non HSS.Bisogna autocostruirsi o comprare il manico, non fornito.
