*****I just love-love-love this pillow. I've been suffering with neck and back issues for several weeks due to some changes in where I sleep. I couldn't get my old pillow to work with my new bed at all. I've used buckwheat pillows for years and have had no problem with them but on this new bed my pillow was an epic fail. I picked this Shredded Memory Foam Pillow to try and it works for me.It does arrive rolled up into a plastic tube. But when you open it, the pillow expands a bit. As people recommended, I put it in the dryer alone for a few minutes, which helped a lot. Just on air dry. It expanded up more, but not enough. So I put it on extra low heat for five minutes and "Voila!" it was a full, nice pillow.I slept on it for the first time last night. What surprised me was that I could be on my side, roll onto my back and then to the other side and it WORKED! Lots of good support every way I used it throughout the night. No neck or back aches upon awakening. I am going to the chiropractor today to get fixed up and then I'll have support here tonight to maintain good back health. I'm very pleased.Other reviewers reported being dismayed because the pillow is lumpy. It is lumpy, but it really didn't bother me much. For me, it's not too lumpy. I noticed no smell emanating from it, and I'm sensitive to smells. My biggest concern was that it would have that feeling of being supportive and yet not supportive and would strain my neck--this is hard to put into words, but it's how I normally feel when I lay on a run-of-the-mill basic foam pillow. Then I'd always get the gap between my neck and the bed or pillow when on my back and have to push the pillow down to fill in the gap for support. None of this with the new pillow. Best pillows I've ever slept on.

When I got the pillows, there used to be a really strong smell that gives me a headache. I had to air it out outside for a week before I can bring it indoors. I noticed that it was about two weeks after, I feel tolerable to sleep on them. The foam is very comfortable. I do think that they are good value for the money.

I have bought so many pillows in the last few years. I had a half bolster pillow that I have used for years and used it every night together with a combination of other pillows to get comfortable. Every night I was changing pillows at least twice and up to four times during the night to get my neck comfortable. Then I left my half bolster pillow somewhere and my sleep got worse and worse. The day I ordered these pillows - one for me and one for my husband - I also ordered another half bolster pillow, but it didn't come in as fast. When I got this pillow I fluffed it and left it and then also dried it for 20 minutes in the dryer to get the full loft. I changed out my husbands pillow and mine.The first night I slept on this pillow I was amazed. Not one time during the night did I reach down to get different pillow. My head did not get hot, my neck did not hurt, I found myself not moving as much during the night to try to get comfortable. This is the most amazing pillow I have ever had.A couple of days later, I got the half bolster pillow. I tried using it the first night but the smell was too much. I was using it with the other pillow, so I just tossed it aside. I picked it up the next night and thought I might use it, but it wasn't long until I changed my mind. It is a nice pillow, but I just do not need it now. This bamboo pillow does everything I need it to do. I absolutely love it. I am thinking of sending the half bolster back.I will note that I sleep on my back, my sides and my stomach. This pillow works on all sides. It is just wonderful for me.My husband says he can't tell much difference, but what I notice is he does not toss and turn and he's not raising up in the middle of the night punching his pillow to try to get it in the position he needs it to be. So whether he will admit it or not, it is helping him. Neither of us have been up as much during the night since we have had these pillows. I truly recommend them. And I did not get a discount for buying it. Wish I had. But I would buy another without the discount. It is just that good.
