It’s thick like a paste and has an earthy smell at first, but after applying you can’t smell it at all. My baby gets heat rashes that turn into dry patches. This works so good for her!

My daughter (age 9) has had an extreme rash on her hands due to all of the hand sanitizer she has been required to use at school during the pandemic. Her teacher started letting her just wash her hands with soap and water instead of using the sanitizer. However, her hands were so dry from months of sanitizer that even the soap and water was perpetuating the dryness. Her skin was peeling off of her fingers. It was very painful for her and she was bothered by the look of her hands also. I asked her Doctor about this at her last appointment and she gave us a sample of this eczema balm to try. There was a huge improvement in just one single use. We immediately ordered a tub. She has been using this balm several times per day for the last four days and her hands are almost completely back to normal. Before trying this product we had been using Aveeno several times per day and it just was not moisturizing enough to solve the dry skin problem. I highly recommend this product! I am so thankful that her hands are clearing up and not hurting her any longer!

has a weird smell to it, very thick and gunky feeling to it almost feels like a sand paste. doesn’t spread easily unless warmed between hands. i don’t like how it feels on me so won’t use for my baby

I enjoy Honest products because of their quality and use of safe ingredients. That's why I don't mind the higher price for their products and in this case a little goes a long way. The balm is rich and thick. It might feel a little chunky right out of the jar but as soon as you rub it into your skin it gives good coverage and absorbs quickly.I like the mild scent and it doesn't leave a sticky feeling on your skin. I feel safe using it on my girls for mild to moderate flares ups and usually only need a few days to clear their skin up.

I love the product but it had an expired "Best By " date on it. I returned it since i was not going to play for an old product. How do I get a fresh jar of it delivered?

This is a very thick cream lotion. Its almost crumbly, how thick it is! I have mixed feelings on the results. On the one hand, it softened up the eczema spots almost immediately, getting visibly better by the next day. However, and I'm not sure if it's the lotion or if it was coincidence, but if I missed applying a day, the spot would turn scaly and bright red! Whereas before, when I just used regular lotion on it, if I missed a day, the scaliness would come back, but the color still was just skin toned.Ultimately I stopped using it, not sure if I'll start back again, but you never know if I might get desperate enough again to try alternative solutions!

I’ve tried almost every lotion in the market for my baby’s eczema and this was the only thing that really worked. I used it along with aquaphor and I’m super pleased with the results. The smell is a bit strange, but the product works so I don’t mind it.
