USP Structural Connectors JL28 2X8 Joist Hanger (Pack of 50)

I built the foundation 1st then started putting logs up, the North East corner of the foundation is over 5' from the ground so after 4 16" butt end dim. logs it was getting to high for me to scribe & cut the logs. It was time to establish a floor height and get the joist in place so I had somewhere to stand. I took 2x12 PTs and bolted them level & plumb to the logs an placed a 28' log in the middle of the cabin to set the other end of the joist on. Put the hangers on the 2x12s than I put 44 2x8x8 pt joist up by myself in no time. I used PT because the roof won't be on until October of 2013 next year, I only work on the cabin 3 months out of the year in NY.I live in FL the rest of the Year. They were perfect. Used 12d galvanized next year I will Finish by Lifting them out of the hangers & gluing and screwing them in place. The floor joist were put in on my last day of work before I came home.

I have no problems they worked as advertised I was happy with results I would buy them againXxxx ,,,,,,,,
