Easy install
It fits perfectly on a Tundra SR5/TRD. It took about 1.5 hours to remove the caps and face, replace and clean up. Start by removing the caps, spray all 14 bolts with WD-40 and let them soak for a couple of hours. You will need to switch the end braces to the new bumper and you should remove them after you remove the old face to make it easier to hold the welded bolts (you'll see what I mean). Also the braces won't appear to fit the new face because they have to expand a bit. Slide them in at an angle and then work them back to the bolt hole. All you need is a 19mm socket, a 12 mm socket and a 12 mm wrench (a couple of the bolt heads are under the tail-gate). A half-inch wrench or vise-grips are needed to hold the welded nuts on the braces.

Great Value but Does Not Fit w/Trailer Tow Package
This bumper arrived promptly, and looks great, at about 1/3 the cost of the OEM part. The installation is a relatively easy DIY project, even for someone with limited car repair experience. In trying to install the new bumper however, I could not get the lower bolt holes to properly align. I compared this new bumper with the original and saw that the lower flange on the new bumper was wider. This creates an interference with the factory installed tow hitch, making it impossible to slide the bumper on far enough to line up the bolt holes. I read several reviews that indicated that this was not a problem, but all of them are from years past. This leads me to believe that the part has changed over time. I contacted the vendor and they confirmed that this part is for trucks without factory installed tow hitches. The vendor was very accommodating and offered to accept the part in return for a full refund. In the end, I was able to trim the flange to eliminate the interference and install the bumper. I treated the trimmed area, but the cut did compromise the chrome finish, so corrosion could be a problem over time. The trimmed area cannot be seen unless one is under the car. Despite this issue, I highly recommend this product.

Product seems as good as original bumper and fit nicely
Product seems as good as original bumper and fit nicely. Shipping arrived within 5 days of ordering. Good product for the price but no instructions for installing. A quick Google search can provide installation instructions and provide some tips for removing old bumper.

Looks exactly like the original
Prompt delivery, it comes in a solid box, it is well packaged and protected, looks exactly like the original. I'll have to make a couple of small braces which are not usable anymore (too rusted, after 14 years!) and find all the needed fasteners which are too rusted also. I will reuse the plastic parts that go on top. I have not put it on yet but will as soon as I find time and will be back to tell about it. While the bumper was off I was able to do a little body work and paint on the rear fender. I finally put the bumper on and everything fits fine. Very happy with my purchase! My truck looks so much better now!

Does not properly fit 2005 Toyota Tundra with factory tow hitch!
This bumper does not fit my 2005 Toyota Tundra with factory tow hitch. I had to grind away approximately 1/8" of material in the middle of the bumper where the tow hitch is to make it somewhat fit. After doing so I realized the holes on the bottom of the bumper do not line up. I'll need to remove the bumper & grind away another 1/8" to hopefully make it fit the holes on the bottom of the bumper. Also I removed my plastic parts from my old bumper & when I reinstalled them on the new bumper they don't fit properly. There is supposed be a 1/4" or so over lap on the plastic pieces & they are basically just touching, not overlapping! Very disappointed in the bumper & should have bought a Toyota one!

Great bumper! Do not hesitate to buy.
2002 Toyota Tundra Limited 4X4. Was a little hesitant based on price and weight but good reviews so I ordered on Monday two hours after I backed into my first pole in a cramped parking garage and it arrived the following Saturday at noon. By 1:30 it was installed. Take the tailgate off first and set aside. Out of the way and you can set your tools and bolts in the bed. Easy installation video online and popping out the plastic step cover from the underside took the most time. About 12 easy bolts and the two license plate lights and it was off. Reinstalled the two suppprt bars which is easier to do with both bumpers off and the new one went right on. Plastic parts snapped on instantly and it looks as good as when it rolled off the lot. This is a good bumper. Do not hesitate to buy. Seriously, for the price you can’t beat this for a do it yourself project that is easy enough for even a non-auto geek to complete. After 15 years, the old bumper had some rust and I’ll keep an eye on this one but looks rock solid.
