How wide do the jaws open?

They seem to open about 1/4 an inch. It isn't an exact measurement on the tool

The country of origin for the CMMT81621 is China.

Will this tyoe wrench work to remove a shower head, and put in new one? Can't get it unscrewed.

The wrench I bought was a smaller model, 6 inch. My experience is you’ll need a 8 or 10 inch model for a shower head. Will probably work but you may want to use penetrating oil to loosen any rust.
