Satisfactory replacement for OEM visor. Loose clip issue solved using zip tie.
Satisfactory replacement for OEM Honda sun visor. The driver's sun visor on a 2007 Civic stopped staying in the up position, even after trying those "DIY fixes using screw posts" solutions on YouTube. Didn't want to get an OEM visor for $50-60, especially since they are reportedly prone to failing again. So, decided to try this aftermarket visor. The color matches the OEM visor color "Atlas Gray" very well. I installed the replacement visor using the OEM mounting screws from the old visor with no problems. It stays in the "up" position fine.As other reviewers have noted, the visor rattles because it doesn't securely snap into the overhead clip. I used a small 4-inch zip tie around the "roller" on the visor. This is working well so far. No rattling. The visor is snugly held by the clip, and with gentle pressure releases fine.

Too loose, comes out with no resistance.
The media could not be loaded. My visor wouldn't stay snapped up the closed position, it would dangle down partially blocking my view, so I ordered a replacement. This one is nice and strong, stays in place, but when I have it open and move to close it the part that should hold the right side in place is way too small. There is no resistance whatsoever and I just know having to carefully maneuver the visor every time I need to use it would drive me crazy. Otherwise it was in good conditon. Returning this item.

Fits a 2007 Honda Civic Perfectly
I got the tan sun visor which was the perfect match and color to my car. Installing it to my car was very easy to do because it was straight forward. If you have no idea what to do, definitely check out youtube for help. The only problem I had was twisting the part that you screw into the car. It was so hard that I almost gave up and was going to return it. But you just have to put a lot of pressure to move it upwards. Thats the only reason why I am giving 4 stars because I struggled a lot.

Perfect OEM Alternative
For half the price of an OEM Sunvisor, this was definitely worth the money. I had the problem that most Honda Civics this generation has where their sun visor begins to significantly sag so I tried the bolt technique to stop it from sagging. Sadly that didn't work so I resorted to purchasing this new sun visor. In the picture, the new sun visor is located on top while the previous one is located on the bottom. The color(Atlas Gray) matches perfectly with the OEM visor. The newer visor also has more of a whiter sticker when compared to the OEM's yellowish sticker which is find much better. This was definitely worth the purchase!

Good but it doesn't snap
Similar color and style with the original Sun Visor of Honda Civic 08 LX Coupe. One thing I noticed though- it doesn't snap and hold. It does stay on the bracket that's attached to the overhead of the car but the visor doesn't stay snapped. So if you bring it down to use the mirror or for sun shade, it'll easily come off the bracket... and this could be anything to some.

Decent replacement for the melting Honda Visors.
The 2006-2011 Honda civics have and issue where the glue holding the visors on the support bracket melts in hot weather and the visors fall off. Unfortunately I bought the vehicle after Honda Motors CO ended the recall for these visors. This product is a great replacement. It is affordable and super easy to install. It comes with both screws for replacement (one is in a tiny bag and the other is pre-installed in the bracket). The only complaint I would have is that the fitting that clips into the hook near the map lights is not quite thick enough to secure the visor firmly in place and as a result is a little loose and sometime rattles over washboard and ice pack road conditions. Otherwise a good product and worth the savings over the Honda brand which I have heard still melts on hot days.

Do it yourself
I YouTube how to install this. Piece of cake. Excellent quality and soooooo much more affordable this way than having someone do it or an original Honda part. You can't tell the difference. Highly recommend. Fast shipper, good packaging, no issues.

Defective Support Bracket
The media could not be loaded. As soon as I installed and attempted to rotate the visor it fell out, as seen in my video. Upon closer inspection, it was obvious that the end of the support bracket was missing a rubber stopper to keep it from falling out. I compare it to the Honda OEM bracket (new one on the left vs OEM on the right) and I don't understand how SAILEAD expects the friction of 2 plastics to withstand constant rotational force. I suspect my product was defective, as the advertised pictures of this visor show the rubber stopper intact and mine is just cheap plastic.
