6/22/20 UPDATE: PART 2: So, after trying the case for the second time (with much convincing from the Seller’s Customer Svc) I realized that the problem is the case’s built, shape or make. The case is not fitting properly. The bottom of the case where the port is can be loose that it is not letting the phone fit flushed to the lightning port that’s why it won’t charge the iPhone. I have to press on it with a little bit of an effort for it to connect and charge. I was able to find a solution by inserting a thin gift card between the phone and the case near the port to make it work without pressing on it manually. The case is working now as it’s intended with much ado. I would give credit to the Seller’s customer service department/agent who contacted me and offered to amend the situation by sending me another case to try as long as I update the 1 Star review.PART 1: Arrived but not working. I did as instructed but still didn’t charge my phone using it’s power or even when it’s connected to lightning cable. Returning this product, ASAP.

I was excited to get this thing for my long drive trip next week. It arrived today but it’s not working at all. I charged it, kept pressing the button but my phone is not recognizing it and not charging. Oh well. Returning itMay 26th UPDATE: The company was very fast to reply to my review and offered to send me replacement case, without me even needing to send the bad case back to them. That was very awesome of them. However, the new case arrived and it does same exact thing. The case looks like it's charged, because I can see every light turn on when I press the button, however, it does nothing when I insert my phone into it and press and hold the button for 3 seconds. It does not look like the phone is recognizing the case. I contacted the seller again with request for a refund.May 29th UPDATE: I am changing my rating from 1 start to 3 star. The company has been excellent in resolving the issue and refunded me money. They are super fast with responses and communication. This is nice case. It feels good and fits good and it's less bulky than other battery cases I had before.

I bought this with a little trepidation after reading the bad reviews. But I really need something that attaches to the phone, not just a battery pack with short charging cord. If this goes bad that’s what I’ll have to do I guess. Anyway so far it’s working well. I don’t take it off the phone and I’m hoping that by not removing it, that will help keep it from flexing and breaking the connections.Also any battery pack gets hot when charging. So I’m trying to not let everything get so hot during the recharging might help the case hold up longer plus less heat is better for my phone also. Trying to not let the battery get so depleted that it takes a long time to re-charge, thus adding to the heat buildup.I really like this case because it does have the rubbery grip, not that hard plastic of the other ones, but I also understand that the flexibility might contribute to it not being as durable as rigid plastic. I’ll update this if it breaks.

There are 2 things that I a not satisfied:1. When I plug in charging cable, the charging case quit charging iphone. You are charging case battery only.It is desirable that iphone charging and case battery charging happens at same time when I plug in the charging cable. What happens is I plug the cable before sleep. Next morning I found the case is full battery but iphone is 10% battery, for example. I want to see both batteries full.2. You have to turn on the case on and off by yourself. It does not charge your phone if you don't press button.

This is the best battery case I have ever used! It's bendy rubber top is easy to bed away to slip your phone in and out of but there's really not need to ever take it off because it lasts all day and you can charge it up overnight with your phone's lightning cable to charge the phone and the case together. It perfectly fits my 6s Plus and also fits my wife's 7 plus thanks to the camera cut out on the back so she can use it too if her phone needs a charge on the go too. The raised edge protects the screen from accidental drops and the battery truly charges over 100% even with heavy use during charging all day. It gives me peace of mind knowing my phone has more than enough protection and battery to get me through the whole day each day. highly recommend this product.

Hello, i purchased this external case about a week ago. I’ve used this case all week and i have to say I’m impressed. Its as sleek as can be for a external battery case. Slimmer then an otterbox case. The case itself is durable and a matte finish which is very nice for grip. Build quality is great! Doesnt block anything speaker grilles nor does it affect any charging cable or aux wire. I really needed this case because my phone is so outdated that it doesnt last me thru the day. But with this case, ive last more then a day and its very simple and easy to use. You can turn the case on or off whenever you need to juice up for phone and to charge it, it utilizes the same charging port for your phone. No charging separate. It charges both the battery and iphone at the same time. I believe its def worth the price. Thank you!

This was my second attempt at purchasing a product to extend my battery life for my iPhone 6s plus. The first product I bought from another company was complete trash and wouldn't hold a charge or even charge at that. I returned that product and then I purchase this one that I have had since October I live a somewhat active lifestyle and I has held up pretty good. I would only suggest that the rubberized film they apply on the back held up better but then again I do abuse this case. Lastly it has been very solid a final suggestion would be to make the port somewhat more reliable but overall it still works and I would recommend.

The first case we received had a faulty charging connector, but the company promptly sent a replacement that is working just fine.
