Everbrite Garage Door Renewal Kit - 2 Car

I used this on my garage door that faces south in southern Florida. I gently scrubbed off the worst of the oxidation with a household scrub brush, cleaned the door thoroughly with the cleaner provided and then just wiped on the coating. I’m so happy with my garage door. It looks like new. My only complaint is the 16-page instruction book that makes the work sound a bit intimidating. I called Everbrite and the woman there was very helpful and reassuring that I wasn’t going to have an ugly garage door when I was done. Love this product. I also used it on an old metal table and some old light fixtures as well.

We applied this product in June 2021 and have not done anything to the door since then. It still looks great and we would buy this product again.

This is a hard product to put on, but if you can it works very well, tough to touch. If using on brass and not skilled perhaps try another option, maybe a great wax, seen some for 5yr duration

Worked well on copper!

I was skeptical at first but this product had good reviews so I gave it a try. I had already washed the door but used the supplied product anyway. The final step is a breeze, went on VERY easily and the door looks brand new. Not sure how long it will last yet. Had plenty left too, seems at least half, even though we followed the directions exactly for my two door garage door.

I bought this product at the beginning of last summer. I cleaned all of my surfaces very well and as directed before applying the Everbrite protectant enhancing coating. It looked beautiful during the summer last year. Midway through winter, I began to see the product became hazy on my surfaces that I applied it to. The worst was on my powder coated wrought iron fence around my pool. Everbrite has only lasted nicely on my 25 year old outdoor bar purchased from Home Depot. It has also hazed over on my patio furniture. The product was very sticky to work with. I don’t mind working with chemicals that require solvent clean up, but I expect them to last longer than six months. I couldn’t even get 2 seasons out of it. I posted pictures, you be the judge.

I purchased this product to clean and protect a copper lid for my firepit. The first picture you see is what my copper lid looked like originally. The next picture is what my lid looked like after scrubbing it for 3 minutes with a combination of lemon juice, salt and white wine vinegar. I was extremely pleased with how quickly it shined up and how just clean and new it looked. The instructions were not very clear and don't even seem to use consistent names when referring to their products. After I let the copper lid dry completely I attempted to use the Everbrite cleaner, but it seemed to be oxidizing the copper and leaving weird looking streaks/blotches on the copper lid. After spending some time trying to interpret the directions I once again scrubbed it with the combination of lemon juice, salt, and white wine vinegar. I let it dry completely and then I applied 3 coats of the actual Everbrite product. It was extremely easy to apply and went on smoothly. As you can see from the pictures it definitely darkened the copper lid pretty significantly; see the 3rd picture. I have confidence that the lid will be very well protected because there appears to be a pretty thick coat of clear resin on the copper lid, but I just wish it would have maintained the color from the second picture. Overall I'm satisfied with the product because I don't think I'll get the tarnish that I had originally, but just wish the instructions were more clear and the color did not change.

Works well don't forget to dilute the cleaner.
