700 - Cavity Wax – Aerosol

I used this for a new used rust free Saturn front subframe from down south. Sprayed inside before install. In a decade or so I will know if this stops the subframe rust out here in New England. I was pleased with the way it went on and dried to a wax like film.

Excellent product! Used inside late model RAM pick-up truck frame rails as well as doors, rocker panels, quarter panel areas, gas cap area, hood, tailgate and all around body cavities that are exposed to moisture but not direct water splash. Product has outstanding creepage slowly working its way inside the body cavity all the way down to drip holes so you know that the cavity was well covered. Each can empties fully with no left over wax getting stuck in the can when the can gas runs out. Can pressure is strong so wax gets blown into the body cavity well. Be advised that since can pressure is so strong extension wand will blow off the can. In my case the plastic wand blew right into the truck frame cavity never to be seen again. Ended up wrapping some tape around the nozzle & hose to keep the hose in place. Wax has an old candle like odor that takes a very, very long time to dissipate. Has been two months now and odor is way down but is still there. Flashlight inspection, where I could see, showed that the excess wax dripped downward but also stayed where I first sprayed it. Have recently done a Nissan four door sedan with equally good results. Burned through 10 cans for truck, 8 cans for car.Well worth the investment when you buy the multi-can packages.
