Far left
The majority of the articles are far left. I was hoping for something more in the middle.

Ordered the book on Amazon and I beleive that the authors did great!
For your information, the book was written by two authors who wrote the textbook from Oregon. The grammar was great! If you need better access to study tips, then it's there at the end of the chapter for any college student. Please keep in mind that some chapters are long and some are short. I strongly believe that it was really well written.

Excellent introduction to the field from a sociologically-leaning paradigm
This textbook is an excellent, thorough, and wide-ranging introduction to the interdisciplinary field of women's, gender, and sexuality studies albeit from a heavily sociological perspective. It is one of the very best readers in the field, for both instructors and students, as each chapter offers explicatory text that provides a clear overview of the issues, along with critical language, definitions, and terms that are foundational to student learning. Additionally, each chapter features a variety of scholarly readings in direct relation to that material; and as the title denotes, these readings span the range from classic and historic texts that shaped the field to relevant issue-based articles that explore current events. Students often remark how much they benefited from being able to read the breadth of scholarly thought in the field that this text provides.Overall, the text is clear and concise in explaining the field's intellectual and activist roots and history, and directs students through many of the most important concepts in the field today. While certainly a text can always be improved, this reader does an excellent job at including, in a largely U.S.-based approach, readings and issues that move across and outside U.S. borders. It is also provides interdisciplinary perspectives, such as with poetry and the like, in addition to the social sciences perspectives on women, gender, sexuality and the construction of these concepts. I have used versions of this reader for years now and, try as I might, it is hard to find a better introductory-level text.

Read with caution!
This is the most fictitious book ever written. Many false claims promoting a false maritime on women inequality. Many, many more false claims about President Trump. This is a forced read at a big ten college and promotes anti American sentiments. Read with caution and parents, educate your children if you are helping them to order this for college. This book should be flagged as propaganda.

Notes in book
The book was in great shape on the outside. Very minimal use. On the inside however there was alot of notes written.

Not reader friendly
Not super helpful in terms of definitions. Terms aren’t bolded or defined clearly. Mostly just a wall of text and a lot of articles written by other people.
