I love it
I like it because it’s giving my son who was born with Spina Bifida and has to wear AFOs and reversed walker/arm crutches to walk or standing, perspective that it’s fine to be different.

I have cerebral palsy and I volunteer in a pre k classroom. I read this book to the kids to help them understand why I have braces and crutches. It was really helpful

Great lesson for young kids
This is yet another wonderful Daniel Tigers neighborhood Siri's book. It is a wonderful idea of the way to teach young children about people with disabilities, and that they are no different from someone who does not have a disability. if you have not read any of the Daniel Tigers neighborhood series books to your kids, I highly recommend any and all of them.

Great lesson about inclusivity
We really enjoy this story about inclusivity and learning to play with children with a disability. It’s a good book to teach little ones how to interact with kids that are “different” while still including them in play!

Love it
Great story. Discusses inclusivity within play and teaching kids how to be flexible in play when someone cannot play the way they do.

Cute book but written for older preschool children and beyond.
I was so excited to find a story about a child with leg braces. My little one has ankle braces and I wanted a book where she felt included. It's a sweet story and I gave it 5 stars bc I really liked it. However, it's not geared to towards toddlers. Too many words in the page to keep my two year old occupied. Definitely better for preschool and beyond.

Great book!
This book was so awesome for helping potty train my granddaughter. She loves it and plays with it constantly. We all sing the potty song!

Love stories with braces in.
Representation is important. My son wears AFOs and he loves this book. Might share with his school when he joins.

A fantastic book and a great help.
Our daughter, who is four, has to wear splints and she was constantly being asked by her school friends the reasons why. When we came across this book, we purchased it and gave it to her school to read during story time. It explained to all the other kids what the splints were for and why she couldn't do some of the things that the other kids could do, like running and jumping etc.

bellissimo
storia bellissima che insegna a non vedere la disabilità degli altri come qualcosa di brutto o di privativo, ma come qualcosa semplicemente di diverso con cui è fattibile convivere. lo consiglio!
