Worked like a charm
Bought this for my John Deere E100 lawn tractor. It fit perfectly. It came with a wiring harness but I did not use it since the wiring harness on my machine plugged right up to it. It was less than half the price the JD dealership quoted me. I would recommend this part to anyone needing a replacement.

Mower with Briggs engine stopped running - this was the part
Mower died and wouldn't start. Would start with starter fluid in the intake, but not running fuel. Turning off and on the key did not actuate the solenoid. Replaced this part using the old ring inside the solenoid to fix mower.

Worked Perfect
PP19A42 Mower. B&S Intek 19HP motor. Couldn't be happier. After replacing multiple parts I found this to be the problem. Ordered and received quickly. Tested before I installed it and it retracted as it should. Installed and motor fired right up.

The solenoid fit perfectly
The solenoid works perfectly. The wiring harness was NOT an exact match (the original connected from the solenoid to a six wire harness, whereas the new one is a two wire solo connector) - but the existing harness fit the new solenoid, so that really wasn't a huge issue. I used the new unit for about two months with nary a problem.Once I knew what the problem was, took about an hour to take off the old one and replace it. So much less expensive than having a technician do it for me!
