Yukon short yoke for Ford 9" HD with 28 spline axles and a 1330 U/Joint size

I bought this for a Ford 9” in a 1968 Fairlane. A OEM pinion yoke inexplicably uses small tabs on the outside of the ujoint saddles to keep the ujoints from spitting out the side of the yoke. The most common failure of the yoke is for those tabs to break. When that happens you have a catastrophic failure of the ujoint and yoke. Moroso makes ujoint girdles that accomplish a similar function as this yoke but they are made of aluminum. The Moroso girdles are a big improvement over the stock ujoint straps but this pinion yoke is a stap above even that. The ujoint saddles on this yoke has a lip around the entire saddle to hold the ujoint in place laterally. In my case I am running both this yoke and the Moroso girdles. Hopefully I will never have a ujoint failure.
