I have been suffering with chronic pain for just about 20 years now. 3 years ago, the pain flared up substantially. So much so I can no longer sleep in a bed. After seeing numerous doctors and have lots of blood drawn and a couple of MRI's, I had no definitive diagnosis. A friend mentioned Lyme disease. I had the Igenix lab test done and it came back positive. I started seeing a Lyme literate doctor and started antibiotics. The antibiotics helped, but the improvement was minimal. After tweaking the antibiotics and trying other supplements, after 12 months, the Dr. suggested 3 different enzymes that are supposed to be good against biofilms. I tried lumbrokinase, but wasn't able to take it very long before having some other side effects.I hesitantly tried nattokinase and had tremendously positive results. From the first dose, I could tell an improvement. 6 montths later, I still can't sleep in my bed, but I can do moderate workouts, I can take pleasantly long walks, and I feel so much better.I tried the nattokinase supplement from Dr.'s Best, and after about 2 weeks, I was having a lot of swelling in my ankles and I was feeling bloated. Plus, the pain was coming back. I switched back to Ortho Molecular Products and the side effects went away and the pain improved. My point with this detail is if you tried one brand of nattokinase with no success (or negative success), try another brand and see if that helps.

Certainly better than taking an 83mg aspirin every day. And for the record, it does keep my blood pressure in the normal range with no known side-effects, like the prescriptions it replaced.
