Product is as described within the Amazon Website. If follow instructions and have proper tools, install is easy. Product is well made, the aluminum bug screen is same mesh as standard window screen (so even smaller insects cannot gain access), if using mill a light roughing with steel wool allows to hold paint well, and if you push into place FROM the EDGE, without twisting, the three small dents hold tight. Tech Support person from M Franklin had very good install tip. Purchase an end cap or short length of PVC pipe the SAME diameter as the round louver plan to install. Once have each of the dents just started in soffit material, use the PVC to apply consistent, moderate force to push the louver remainder of way into hole...PVC makes force evenly distributed around perimeter without damaging the louvers. Two of the 20 (5 bags or 4 louvers each) ordered had middle louver center visibly smashed into bug screen...IMO this is not Mfg issue but rather handling for packaging in which Amazon staff needs to be careful as handle while placing within box.

I installed plastic vents around 15-20 years ago and the plastic is so brittle it was falling apart. These were the same size for a perfect replacement /fit and most likely wont fall apart.

Easy install. Best price. The enamel ones seem a bit sturdier. However, I use these for my chicken coop. It gets cold and windy here in NE AZ so I put one on both inside and outside to prevent draft.

at first, I didn't think these were going to work as I had put metal roofing under my soffits --- so I have that small "not so flat" ridge from the metal roofing where I needed to put all of these vent caps ---- it's been several months now -- and every single one (of 20+) is holding in fine

I followed the instructions and drilled a 3" hole for the vents, they fit perfectly. Hopefully, they work great.

Exactly what I needed and could not find locally. These press-fit easily into a 3-inch hole. I used them to replace damaged vents in my soffits. The insect screen is helpful too, although the one I removed had a screen as well, and it didn't stop the wasps from colonizing the space behind the vent. Hopefully, this year will be better :-)

Just what I was looking for.Just as described. Really like the screen on the inside to keep out bugs and lizards.

These louvers are 10 times better than what you find in most home improvement stores. The screen is very fine to stop bugs from entering, the louver is well made of metal, not plastic and best of all it's made in the good old USA. We had no problem installing as per instructions. Would never settle for the cheap plastic ones we saw in the stores.
