Yige Women's High Waisted A line Skirt Skater Pleated Full Midi Skirt

I was so mad when I received this item! I wish I could rate it negative stars!! The material is nothing like the picture! It is very shiny, like a satin bridesmaid dress material, very flimsy, and is not at all modern! It has absolutely no structure, and does NOT poof out, like in the picture!!!! It clung to my legs like a thin, papery, see-through material that was full of static! I also ordered 2 sizes up from what I normally wear, after following the size guidelines and other reviews, and it was still about 2 inches too small in the waist! The color was also not at all like the picture either...it was a dark, navy blue, instead of a bright blue! I just cannot understand how the picture for this item can be so deceptive- it's very upsetting. I would NOT recommend this item to anyone!!

This skirt is adorable. It reminds me of Minnie Mouse 😊. The fabric has a nice sheen a good weight to it which gives the skirt a sweet, full shape.I usually wear a large (US 10/12, waist 33"). I followed the size chart provided in the photos and ordered a size 14. It fits just a touch big on me, but I think it's workable. So if you're between sizes you'll probably want to size down.

Purchased wine red size US4.CONS: It's so shiny. My goodness it's SO SHINY! It is made of a satin material and is so shiny. I thought it was going to be like the first photo, a matted cotton look, but it is not. I have no clue when I would wear this skirt. It is too fancy for everyday, too plain for dressy.The size runs a bit smaller than advertise so I would recommend you size up. I'm usually a US2 but read the reviews and bought a US4. Barely fits and would be uncomfy to sit in or wear all day.PROS: Delivery was quick. The construction of this skirt is wonderful. It has pockets. It looks exactly like the second picture so if that's what you're looking for, go no further.

I've been eyeing this skirt for about six months, and the occasion finally called to make the big purchase. I was fairly hesitant, as I didn't know what size to get. I've seen so many people say "order up" on items before, and when I did I'd end up with a tent. And seeing as I'm fairly lazy, I would forget to return it to Amazon and end up with these clothing items that were two sizes too big.Alas, I wanted this to sit at my natural waist which is quite high since I have a longer torso, and I decided to take a chance and go with the reviews on this one to order a size up. For reference, I am 5'6", 160lbs, athletic build, a typical size 8, with a 29" waist. I ordered the size 10, and it fit like a glove to my natural waist. Like, you literally can barely get a finger between the waistline and my skin. But it fits, comfortably, with no muffin top and looks fabulous on. I can wear it without a petticoat if I want something a little less vintage looking, or put my favorite petticoat under for a little "poof" and feel like I'm ready to go to the sock hop.The color of the "Wine Red" really isn't a nice, deep burgundy as I had hoped and more like a really deep, dark fuchsia. Slightly disappointing, but as I'm wearing this with a black top and heels, it'll still suit my purpose. It also has a bit more of a sheen than I would have expected, even with reviewers noting that it wasn't a matte fabric. I don't mind this, however. It makes it look more costly than it was. Also, as other reviewers have noted, there is no hook closure at the top of the side zipper, which is kind of a pain. The zipper is fairly sturdy and I don't think I'll have any issues with it falling down, but it would definitely make zipping up the skirt a tad bit easier.All in all, for the price of the skirt, the look, and the length (it hits just below my knees on my 5'6" frame), I think it's a great buy. I've seen similar skirts sell for at least three times the amounts at other shops. I'll definitely be buying more in other colors.

I love this skirt. I bought a few colors...all accurately portrayed on the computer screen. The fabric is shiny, kind of like shantung or a satin twill. It looks very glamorous and pretty. Because of the shiny fabric I'll use this more for formal occasions. This skirt is an absolute steal compared to "special occasion" skirts offered at department stores for lots more money and the same quality.Please note: The similar Yige skirt "Yige Women's High Waist Flared Skirt Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket" (with the model's body turning left, walking) is also pretty but it is more of a matte fabric and better for everyday situations. I like having both options. I found these skirts run large so I've submitted another order for one size down from my usual.

This really is a lovely skirt. Believe the reviews! I will say though, it does run very small, at least in the waist. I am 5’6”, 118 pounds, with a small waist. I had first ordered the two, and I have to admit I was surprised when I could barely zip it! Things are usually too big for me in the waist. Especially high waisted things, which this definitely is. The body of the skirt was on point size-wise, but the waist was tiny. The return was easy, thank you Amazon! I re-ordered the skirt in a four. Even the four was snug in the waist! But I will make it work ;-). Anyway, I absolutely recommend this skirt, just be aware you might have to order a size up or two.
