I always find when I buy packs of fresh herbs from the supermarket, that I only use a few leaves before the majority wilts and has to be thrown away. Then I discovered these great little pots. Now I use a few leaves fresh, then chop the remainder and freeze them in a pot which is just the right size to bring out for one recipe. Yes, they're plastic, but no I won't be throwing them away after each use. They're strong enough to be washed/rinsed and re-used numerous times, and I reckon I've cut my purchase of fresh herbs by about 85% which has got to be a good thing. Because the smallest quantity available seems to be 20, I'm using others to store small beads for embroidery projects, and seeds from the garden also in the freezer until I'm ready to plant them in the spring. Really very handy.

Really useful little pots. I bought them to freeze left over herbs and grated ginger. I am fed up with buying herbs and ginger and throwing it away because I only need a tiny amount. These tubs will eventually pay for themselves.

We use them for saving a sample of meals we cook for other people, in case of possible food poisoning.

Perfect size for freezing small amounts of leftover herbs, size as expected from the advert and the lids close well so am satisfied that they will not accidentally open in the freezer

The photos of these pots are misleading, they are way to small to be a use for food storage. I have found a use for mine however, I have used them to store small amounts of watercolour paint when squeezed from the tubes.
