Stair Treads 13 Indoor and Outdoor Use - Peel and Stick

I let them choose the color because I only needed these for my unfinished basement steps for practicality, not for looks. I would not recommend doing that if you want these treads for aesthetics and looks because the pattern is random and not consistent from tread to tread (see pics below). The backs of the treads are COMPLETELY covered with stickiness (and it IS sticky), and they haven't moved a bit...so make sure you know where you want them before you place them. After two weeks, the front edges were showing signs of wear (see picture). And as another reviewer mentioned, make sure you place them where you will actually step...many people center them on the step, but you will notice you step closer to the front, not the center.

The tacky back is great. They will protect the stairs while we move and they will keep us and the dogs from slipping on them. That said, you get a deal on these because it's ugly material. Not picking a color I'm fine with. The weird messed up pattern and dark blue line running through all of them is a let down. It seems like the machine making these went crazy and changed patterns for the middle portion and got stuck on bright blue long enough to leave a dark line of it and then went back on its way to the original pattern

For what I used these for, it worked great!If I was picky about looks and color I would not have taken the chance of not being able to pick color. But, I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up all matching! And the color scheme was perfect (I stuck them to cat "shelving and stairs" to give kitties grip as they race up the walls of cat room)Peel and stick! Yeah! I was done in 15 minutes and that included cutting them all to size.

I placed these on our steps leading from the garage to the laundry room. The installation was very easy, and quick. Having these in place has really cut down on the dirt tracked into the house, and they add a nice slip guard, too. They are sturdy and even though they have been in place for a couple of months, they show no signs of wear.

We moved into a big house and are redoing all the floors. I needed something temporary to put on the stairs while we do the floors. These work, but I was not thrilled with the color quality. I let the company pick the color. I thought they would at least all match but they don't. Some have stripes all over, some have just a few, some are more gray and others are black. They were cheap and it's temporary so they will do. If I planned on using them permanently, I would have returned them.

I bought these for my aging dog who was having trouble navigating my slick, hardwood stairs. She goes up and down now much more easily. They do a pretty good job of staying put, too. I'd buy them again.

Easy to install, looks great and is holding up well. I didn't do any prep work (and it was raining outside when I applied them). My stairs were not wet, but it was wet and damp and cold outside and these still stuck to my wood stairs (and have stayed perfectly in place).

I chose the random selection option. I like these a lot. I have them on my stairs going up to the second floor. A few of them did not adhere to the steps, although most of them did. To make sure, I put some staples in each one with a staple gun. (The only downside to that is that you can clearly see the staples. However, if you hammer them, they do recede into the tread and you won't feel the staple even barefooted.) This works for me. I have a new pup, and I want him to feel comfortable on my stairs, which jerk sharply at 90-degrees at the lower four stairs alone.These treads are pretty, and they do fray a bit, so I set them on my steps just beyond (like 1/4 of an inch) the front edge of each step, so they won't fray too quickly. I mean, they're not Oriental or whatever, but they're definitely nice for the price and highly functional. They shipped quickly and I was pleased.
