These sound very good. I have them with the ear studio HS100 DAC which is a perfect combo.The bass is rich and perfect high end. I play podcasts and EDM with them to make an old man very happy. me being the old man of course.This headphone is really for the audiophile but dont let me stop you buying it as its worth every penny for the price.I havent tried the sound for the mic as I use the HS100 which has amazing mic performance.

These are really interesting sounding headphones. They make music sound really distant and detailed. Very wide soundstage and relatively balanced. And like other reviews have mentioned they are very good at imaging. One thing about them is that they will never let vocals or drums overpower the other parts of your music. It's almost like they have a limit to the amount of sound they can produce and they will always hold back drums and vocals if the mix gets loud. This makes them relatively unfatigueing (combined with the very distant sound). The thing I'm not a fan of though is that they are not extremely clear sounding (slightly grainy). Compared to kz zs10 pro there is a harshness to the vocals and instruments. This makes them not very intimate at all. Overall, if you are all about vocal clarity there are better options.And if you enjoy heavy drums/metal same.But I wouldn't say that they ruined the experience of any of the music I listened to with them and it's something you can get used to. If you value expansive soundstage and imaging these are great for the price.

This is a really great set of earbuds.Best pair I have had, ever.

I was eager to get the HE100, expectations were high. I own the ES100 USB and bluetooth DAC, which I like very much. It's probably still the best bluetooth DAC you can get for <$100. I expected the same from the HE100, to be again an outstanding piece of audio hardware for its price range. But..Already on the first listening I had the feeling something is wrong. The "Rich and Solid Bass" is pretty much like on most cheap in ears. Just an over pronounced bass which makes me a headache. At the other end, the "Clear & Open High" is missing. Music doesn't sound that crisp an clear as I'm used to with my other in ears, and not worth any comparision with my over ears. Also no way for "Easy Listening, Medium Thickness Vocal". Details in the voices are missing. Listening to this reduced sound is no joy, it's just a disappointment. Same for the "Pinpoint Sound Localization", it's just not there.Maybe I had bad luck with this device, because it's probably one from the very first batch. If not, its just a cheap sounding in ear sold for $90.Beside that acoustic disappointment...The build quality is okay. Seems to have a metal housing, feels cold.Lower 2/3 of the thin round cable is fabric coated. Why not the whole cable?The round cable easily gets tangled up. That's not state of the art.The cable makes also noise when moving around. But that's an issue with most in ears.One star for radsone, because I really like the ES100.Another one because they sound better than the probably $5 in ears which came with my mobile.That's it for me. Now what to do with them?

I wanted an old-style earbud form factor, so that's why I was initially interested in these. Out of the box, I find the overall sound quality to be worse than the Samsung ear buds that came with my Note 4. Without EQ, I'd pick the two dollar Samsungs over these. Why three stars instead of one? The HE100 is more detailed and has much better imaging. However, the HE100 needs substantial bass and midrange boost with the EQ, in my opinion. Without boosting bass and midrange, they sound very anemic, hollow. When cranking up bass and midrange with the EQ, they sound warmer, fuller, detailed. High end is pleasant and doesn't need any EQ. With the EQ, I'd give them four stars for sound.I don't know. Did I get a defective pair? I don't think so, because they sound good with the EQ.I suspect that I could have found something much better for half the money, or even less.They get two stars for sound out of the box, but I threw in an extra star for build quality, which is good. If we're talking about EQing them, four stars for sound.

Seems unreal these are selling at one ninth the original but that's what was able to purchase these at, sounds really good, bass is stronger than what I'd expect reading reviews, all together sounds very balanced and clear

Does what it says on the box and adverts. Although I do hope that they would do a detachable cable version of this. Because my cable is deteriorating fast, and a Detachable cable would fix that problem. Other than that it has been a great earphones for me. Good work

I bought these looking for an earbud that emulated my Audio Technica A900X's even, spacious sound and these absolutely deliver. If you're a basshead these will be underwhelming, as the bass is present and satisfactory but not prominent unless the track is mixed that way. If you're looking for a big mid-scoop and extensive treble you also most likely won't like these.However, if you want an earbud that provides even tonality with excellent clarity and presence through the mids with balanced bass and treble you will be pleased. I am most impressed with the soundstage these buds create and how they convey the true nature of the music they're playing. Voices also sound very natural and organic if you're using them for movie-watching.Build quality is above average, with the buds a 'good' and the cable an 'OK'. The cable suffers from microphonics (you can ploy the usual tricks to mitigate this) and the cable doesn't feel the most robust but that's a bit of a nitpick. The buds themselves feel nice and solid and the microphone works well enough.Overall I'm very pleased. I was looking for a specific tonality and these match it exactly, with the rest of it being icing on the cake.

Los compré porque tenia el DAC (Earstudio ES100 MK2) de la misma marca (que es espectacular) y supuse que sonarían bien. Bastante decepcionado con el sonido, una ausencia de bajos notables. Los he comparado con los de apple (no el último modelo) y suenan mucho mejor estos últimos. Tal vez mi unidad esté dañada... Otro inconveniente es que si los devuelves hay que pagar la devolución y enviarlos por correo o courier con lo que toca poner dinero. Bastante decepcionado.

These earphones are cheap and nasty. They come with three sizes of earbuds but none of them stop the earphones hurting my ears. They feel like I am inserting a needle into my eardrum. They also fall out with the slightest movement and are deeply uncomfortable laying on ones side. They are advertised as "high resolution" but do not have the certification symbol so they are a bit misleading if you're looking for a pair of Hi-Res certified earphones (I was). Unfortunately, it's not easy opening the box so no chance of returning this tat.

Ottime iem entry level, specialmente se abbinate al Earstudio ES100 mk2.Resa dell'intero spettro dettagliata, medi caldi, alti non troppo duri, bassi poco presenti, sub bassi sorprendentemente enfatizzati e piacevoli. Dinamica buona e ascolto non affaticante, seppur dettagliato.Se si vuole un po' di bassi in più, consiglio di cambiare gli eartips con altri, non della stessa marca, che esaltino i bassi.

Ottime per il rapporto qualità prezzo. Non brillano i bassi, ma sono molto chiare e neutrali. Le uso come cuffiette da battaglia per tutti i giorni.

I was underwhelmed and could not honestly tell the difference in sound quality to a $25 pair.
