An Almost Perfect Car Stereo with an absurdly large touchscreen
TLDR; This is a solid car stereo and if it fits your car, you'll be very happy with it.I really wanted to give this 5 stars but had to go with 4 stars because of the somewhat lackluster Android OS used. The hardware itself, very solid, looks amazing and the build quality seems very good for the price. I've installed hundreds of car stereos in my lifetime and I know junk when I see it. This is a quality unit. Hopefully, the manufacturer makes improvements on the Android OS and built in apps. For my review here, I'll mention a few things I really like and then some things I don't like.1.) It came REALLY fast, a few days at the most. The estimated arrival time was something like 3 weeks but it showed up a couple days later. It was well packed, double boxed and everything in the box was well protected.2.) I love that I could set it up on my test bench using just a regular 12v power supply. This allowed me to connect to my home Wifi and get everything set. Which included installing the Google Play Store app, and then Plex, Spotify, Google Maps, YouTube, Waze, Gmail, Info Car, Alexa, Google Home, and a bunch of other apps.3.) Since the internal storage is pretty small, I used a 250GB thumb drive to store all the installed apps data like music, movies, podcasts, etc. Spotify will also sync playlists to this thumb drive, which is awesome. I use the front mounted USB for the thumb drive so I can quickly unplug it, take it into my desktop computer and manually sync movies, music videos and mp3 files.4.) In addition to the USB in the front panel, there are two USB in the back which is awesome too. The nice thing about the 2 in the back is that they can be used for a 4G modem, which are pretty cheap but it can also be used with a phone that can function as a hotspot. I have an iPhone 6 and I had no problems plugging it into the rear USB port, which allowed the car stereo to have a solid internet connection via my phone. I tested all the online apps like Spotify, YouTube, Maps,etc.5.) If you don't have an internet connection while driving, you can use Navigation apps like Sygic (see my screenshot). The really nice thing with Sygic is that you can download maps for offline use. Sygic also stores these maps on the 250GB thumb drive.6.) The vendor says the max USB drive size is 128GB. My drive is 250GB and it seems to work fine. Another great thing.7.) The screen, ball mount are very solid. They don't shake when driving and are secure. Because of this, it takes a bit of force to rotate the screen or move it side to side/up and down on the gear track. Which is fine by me, I'd prefer it to stay put when I set the orientation and viewing angle.8.) I was surprised to see the backup camera included in the package. Although I didn't use the backup camera in my install, it was a nice surprise.9.) I was also surprised to find a REAR HDMI port. I don't recall reading anywhere in the product description that there was rear HDMI port. I tried it with a 15in monitor. The output looked ok but only for Movies, music videos, YouTube, etc. When there is no movie playing the external monitor shows whatever app is on the screen. Problem is, it "scales" the output to fit the external screen, which looks horrible.10.) Bluetooth contacts - I wasn't expecting that and I don't plan on using this car stereo much to make or receive calls, but having your contacts on a big screen make it real nice and you can also see who's calling instantly. So that was 10 things I like. Now for a few that I didn't like so much.1.) This Android OS. This is my second Android car stereo and this OS is so much worse than my other Android. In general, it's just bad and the built in apps for movies, music, photos, etc are pretty plain and bad too. That's why I installed Spotify, Plex, YouTube and VLC.2.) Can't customize the row of buttons along the top. My other Android car stereo allows the end use to put whatever apps they want in the button row. Just like you can do on any phone. This car stereo has all the buttons fixed in place and function. The two exceptions are the Nav button can be assigned to whatever app you like (Google Maps, Waze, Sygic, etc). And there is a button labeled "APP". You can assign that button to any app you like. In my screenshots you see my app button is assigned to Plex.3.) Buttons at the top and at the bottom never disappear unless you're watching video full screen. Some people might like that the buttons are always on-screen but I'd like them to go away and let the app use the whole screen.4.) My biggest disappointment however is the Apple CarPlay and Android Car function. As warned in the product description, this isn't actual genuine CarPlay. It's an app that kind of simulates Apple CarPlay and it's bad. REALLY bad. It was so clunky and slow that it was not really useable. It could be the fact that I'm using a very old iPhone 6s, so your experience may be better. The worst part about the CarPlay though is that in order to use it at all, you MUST plug your phone into the USB on the front panel. That's not gonna work for me since I prefer to have my 250GB thumb drive in the front for easy swapping. CarPlay won't work if you plug your phone into the rear USB.So just to be clear on the USB. There's 3 total. The one in the front can't do 4G modem or hotspot, but it must be used for CarPlay. The USB in the rear can be used for 4G modem, hotspot, thumb drives or whatever but it can't be used for CarPlay.Anyway, so that's my review. I hope it helps you decide that YES, you absolutely need this thing. It's an absurdly large touchscreen in the middle of my dashboard, which is exactly what I wanted. You can add every app you normally use on your phone to this car stereo and keep your phone in your pocket/purse while driving. You'll instantly be more popular and all your new friend will want a ride in the car with the absurdly large touchscreen, even if it's a 1993 honda civic.Edit 2020-01-20. I've changed my review to 1 star. I've left the text of the original 4 star review so that anyone who reads my review can see the original review in-tact. I'm changing to a 1 star review since I was nearly locked out of my radio by enabling the screen lock PIN. Once enabled, the radio starts up and requires a PIN before it will do anything. That's great, that's what I wanted. The problem is that pressing the numbers on the PIN keypad do absolutely nothing so I could see no way to get into my radio at all. Eventually, I was able to figure out that pressing random places on the screen would enter numbers in the PIN field, but I couldn't figure out the pattern. I then had the idea to rotate the screen sideways and while the numbers on the keypad didn't line up exactly as they should, I was able to figure out the pattern and get back into my radio. All of this took over an hour to figure out and it was really a lot of frustrating trial and error. Also, when the PIN lock screen is ON, rotating the screen does nothing and it's like the accelerometer is completely shut off when the PIN lock screen is ON. So everytime you want to change from horizontal to vertical, you have to power off everything, wait a few minutes for the radio to go completely off and then power it back up again. As with all hardware/software products, this is a shining example of how really decent hardware can be plagued with horrible software, and this radio has some of the most horribly cobbled together software I've seen in a really long time. I'm learning to live with it and I'm not taking my car apart again to return it for sure. I've also gone ahead and ordered another one but this time I just got it directly from Aliexpress and the good news is it was only $157. I'm considering exploring some ways to get better software on this so it'll be nice to have a unit to experiment with.

Very disappointing 😞 WILL UPDATE PROGRESSIVELY
The media could not be loaded. I will update this review and even delete or rewrite with a higher rating if the issues are solved..Bought this radio with great hopes because our family loves to travel. The installation was not strait forward. You will lose certain functionality from the center information cluster, but that should be expected since the factory radio and the center information display are integrated. The Mercedes-Benz SOS functionality, the red button in front of the rear view mirror will not work at all. There's absolutely no way for SOS services to hear you, or get your GPS location.SUPPORT: Waiting on solution.INSTALLATION: Installation was not straightforward. The plugs are not plug and play. But after $300 for professional installation, I was looking forward to enjoy this system on our multi-day trips.HEAD UNIT ISSUES:The screen image flips from horizontal to vertical even though the screen was not moved. Watch the video and see the image. We have isolated the issue to a defective screen. I have messaged the seller and have contacted Amazon to make sure I get a solution. The best solution is for the seller to send a replacement screen that isn't defective. It's best if the screen was permanently set to landscape instead of portrait. I will never use it in portrait mode. The screen also flickers. As I said in the intro, I'm happy to give 5 stars 🌟 if the vendor actually addresses all the issues. If I have to have the radio removed, it will cost me money again to have it Uninstalled. I will have spent more money on installation and to Uninstall than the cost of the radio.

It's a great radio to hove.
I was in LOVE with this radio, so existed. And till after 30 minute the radio just shut off. I was so disappointed. It rebooted and shut off again in 10 second. And so on it continued. I still love it. I wish it wasn't deffected.
