Arrid Extra Dry Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Cream 1oz. - Pack of 1

This cream is a classic, the original antiperspirant cream sold by Arrid. In its day it was unique and the best on the market. For most applications it has been replaced by various roll-ons and sprays. However it is absolutely irreplaceable for one important application -- to prevent blisters. Applied to feet prior to heavy hiking (I love to backpack in the Sierra Nevada) it keeps the feet dry, and that keeps them blister free. The US army discovered this application, and it makes the product irreplaceable. When I backpack (usually for a week) I carry a container of this cream with me and apply it every morning. For someone like me who has suffered from blister problems for many years, it is a miracle. I don't use it for underarm deodorant; I find it uncomfortable and not as good as the modern stuff. (one star) But I hope they keep on carrying it forever. For blister prevention, it is worth 5 stars.

Can't really complain about the product (except for one instance of hypersensitivity to the product that I haven't experienced before despite the fact that I've been using this product for years) but I cannot omit mentioning the degree of amazement and shock I experienced when the parcel arrived - it turned out that I was sent only ONE container at a ridiculously high price! I do recall thinking as I was reading the listing that it wasn't crystal clear from the description how many containers you were getting and I was left with an impression (especially, if you consider the price) that I would receive 3 of them, albeit it was still a little pricy (if you were to compare it to the regular price it used to sell for).So, PLEASE READ THIS AND OTHER LISTINGS VERY CAREFULLY AND PAY A VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE PRICE AND THE NUMBER OF CREAM CONTAINERS YOU WILL RECEIVE.

I spent 5 years in steel toe boots working 8-14 hr days. This combined with an anti-fungal foot cream is what saved my feet from ever developing athlete's foot! After it was discontinued and after I ran out I spent 3 months in crocs and low and behold: athlete's foot!! I really wish I could find another product like this.

I have sensitive skin and have been using this product for many years but WTF!!! Guess I won’t be buying it anymore :-( Previously, I’ve paid the approximate same amount for six jars for what now just one jar costs. One jar for the price of six?! Have these people lost their ****** minds??! Frankly, as much as I love this product, I’ll have to find something else cause what they’re asking now is just plain ridiculous. >:-(

This product (Arrid Extra Dry Anti-Perspirant Deoderant) arrived so hard, not creamy at all. I was unable to use it. This product can't be returned. On the shelf in stores cost about $3.99 . I paid $18.99 for something I can't use. I am totally disappointed. One star is for it arrived. It deserves no stars

I like the Arrid Extra Dry Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Cream, BUT was very disappointed in the cost. At this price I expected a package of 10 or more. FOR ONE CONTAINER AT NEARLY $40.00 IS MUCH TO MUCH, and I think you will agree.Please correct the order or show cause why so much.SincerelyJohn Neal

This product is gentle on my skin and works better than anything I've tried. My favorite part is that there is no deodorant smell when I do perspire like I experience with other brands that are listed as unscented. I hike and bike (and perspire ;)) and truly appreciate that there is absolutely no nasty deodorant-y smell. Keeps me dry and fresh. I have wandered but I keep coming back.

I have used this product for many, many years as did my mother. Was able to get it in several stores but they have all discontinued it. The price is a bit high, but I do still like using it.
