pretty, fun lamps
But . . . because the "shades" are made of the same metal as the lamps, light doesn't shine through. I wish I'd returned mine, as I just don't know where to put them now that they don't work for lighting up my living room as I'd hoped they would. To use them as reading lamps, you have to make sure that they are situated higher than where you're sitting with your book, which leaves my bedside nightstands out of contention.It's a pity, really. Changing out the shades would destroy the look of the lamps, so that's out. I may just have to chalk my purchase up as a mistake and donate these somewhere.

Gorgeous, if a slightly weird color
This lamp is almost exactly what I hoped for except for one thing-- the undertone of the brushed-brass finish is weirdly green. If you have other brass in your home, real or fake, it will likely not match it, so be aware of that.That said, I still like it, just wish it was more of a true-brass color. I'm considering spray-painting it or trying rub'n'buff or something, but I'm afraid that will just ruin it. I'll likely just keep it in a room with only black metal finishes elsewhere so it can't clash.This is definitely more of a decor piece than a useful lamp, due to the opaque nature of the shade. The light is all, of course, directed pretty much straight down. Decent as a side table lamp I guess, but I gotta be honest, it won't get turned on much. I bought it for looks, not for utility.

Cute lamp, not the best for lighting up a room
I purchased this lamp for my new office (rose gold/white/gray themed), so this lamp goes great with the rest of the decor in my office. It was very easy to put together, takes normal lightbulbs, so no concerns there. Unfortunately, since the lampshade is solid metal, it doesn't give off as much light as I would have hoped. I don't like turning on my overhead light, so I wanted a lamp that gave off a good amount of light, and although the wattage is good, the lampshade definitely obstructs a lot of the light. So - great for decor, but if you're really looking for a lot of light, I would not recommend this lamp.

Very Nice!
This is a well made, well designed lamp that would be appropriate in a number of different settings. I’m very happy with this lamp and it looks great in the location we currently have it.

LOVE THIS LAMP!
Its not only beautiful, it is also one of the very few lamps that takes two 60 watt incandescent bulbs, providing greatlight for my desk. So many lamps will only take very low watt bulbs- well guess what? I NEED LIGHT TO SEE !Its also a very charming retro design, takes up very little space, and love the rose color- very unusual and looks great. I could not be happier- oh, and the price is quite low. It arrived within three days. I am happy.

Perfect bedroom lamps
I was about to order bedside table lamps for nearly 10x the price and I figured, why not try these first. I'm so glad I did because absolutely love them. The pull chain makes them so easy to turn on/off from bed and the brightness is just right for a bedroom. I plan on purchasing more for my guest rooms.

Beautiful and functional!
I bought this lamp in August 2019, so I've had it almost 1.5 years. I love it! It's sturdy, bright, and was easy to assemble and use. The brass color is very pretty. My only complaints are that (1) (if you are a perfectionist) the finish on the lampshade is slightly banded (not uniform), which I understand is likely unpreventable and (2) the ends of the pull chains have become a bit discolored over time just from normal use. Emailed them to see if I could get replacement chains.

Disappointed after a few months of use
Bought two lamps for my nightstands and look great, but for some reason both always burn one lightbulb (I used brand new LED bulbs)… each time I change the bulb lasts for around 6 weeks and gradually starts to flash and die out… I’m not very happy with that.

The information stated that this lamp was blackened. It was not, it was just plain steel coloured. Shame, because I wanted a lamp of this shape and size.

It was delivered loose, wrapped in a plastic sheet. Not secured. Very poor!
I am using it as a side table lamp, luckily, it was not damaged.
