Three Layer Mesh Ventilated Beekeeping Suit, Beekeeper Suit with Fencing & Round Brim Hat, Sting proof Suit (5X-Large)

I recently purchased the Oz Armour Beekeeping Suit Ventilated Super Cool Air Mesh with Fencing & Round Brim Hat, and it has exceeded my expectations! As a beekeeper, I was searching for a suit that would not only provide excellent protection but also keep me cool and comfortable during hive inspections, especially in the summer months. I am thrilled to say that this suit delivered on all fronts!The ventilated super cool air mesh design is an absolute game-changer. The suit allows ample airflow, keeping me cool and preventing overheating, even during intense beekeeping sessions. The breathable fabric is lightweight and doesn't hinder my movements, allowing me to work freely and with ease. You can feel the breeze through the suit, but you also feel completely protected as well.The addition of the round brim hat was a huge plus for me. I prefer to use this form of face/head protection so that it keeps the mesh away from my face and the stings away from my nose and forehead. The suit's sturdy construction and high-quality materials give me the confidence to work near my bees without worrying about any unexpected encounters. The elastic cuffs and ankle straps ensure a snug fit, keeping those persistent little buzzers from finding their way in.I appreciate the attention to detail in the suit's design. The reinforced zippers and double-stitched seams give it durability, making it a long-lasting investment for any beekeeper. The suit is also easy to clean and maintain, which is a definite plus. It is white, so you will see soiling if you are actively using it, but that is to be expected. And there are a good number of pockets in various areas that allow for you to put your hive tools, phone, or anything else you'd like to have next to you when in the apiary.I have to point out that the sizing options are completely wild and don't follow conventional sizing charts. I am a tall and larger (6'2" and 250lbs) and I went with the 4X size after reading some of the other reviews. This is just workable for my size. I can feel the inseam when I crouch down and it is a little tight. Just keep the size in mind when ordering. You'll probably want to get at least 2 sizes larger than what you wear in regular sizing. It's the one really funky thing about this product.in conclusion, the Oz Armour Beekeeping Suit is an exceptional product. It combines top-notch protection, comfort, and durability, making it a must-have for any serious beekeeper. Don't let beekeeping intimidate you; this suit will have you confidently tending to your hive. Highly recommended!

I am not a bee keeper but gardener and own land, In June I heard the loudest noise coming at me and bit my lip. I never been bit by a bee or Hornet, I went into anaphylaxis and had become disorientated and body organs slowing shutting down. Nearly fainted and confused and rushed to ER,. After 6 hrs in ER my life changed. Epipen to carry and 911 if bitten again. This can not be. Called pest control but couldn't find anything but suggested only this suit so I ordered it and read many suit reviews prior ordering. This Company was so helpful with questions. Received very fast, It took me a week to get the nerve to put on and try it, I mowed my lawn twice with no problem. The last time I mowed I felt something tap my shoulder but thought it was an angel over my shoulder or the damn thing tried to get me again. Well I did not get bite at least. Today the landscaper was in the area where I was stung and looked up to find a big old Hornet nest. I called pest control and now it is all gone. The tap on the shoulder was not my angel but the Hornet who didn't get me. This suit is fantastic. I can go about my yard and not worry. The size was good. I ordered large as I put thicker clothes underneath. I weigh 125 and 5'7. It is not hot and well ventilated. I like the flat hat better than the oval hat but maybe in time I will like. I wear my Australian hat under the bee hat to make sure it doesn't move the flat hat or mess face screen. I have a small head, In 80 degree weather, dressed warm under suit, and in sun/heat 2 hours I had no issues with suit. I just hope it is always available on Amazon. It is made well. Zippers than covered by velcro. I couldn't find cowhide gloves for my hands as sizes sold out so I used cowhide welding gloves that go mid way up arms and nothing can get in.They are working out so far well but I would like to find strong bee proof high gloves for gardening. Gloves did not come with mine. I know ground bee nests will be in the yard soon as every other year and I will feel confident I shall get them out with no issues .Wood chucks love to make holes in yard so they can be anywhere. But this suit is a life changer for me. No stings, it is comfortable to wear, cool body ventilation, and excellent workmanship in all the details of the suit. The legs have nice zippers to get in and out easy too. I store my suit in a nice cloth fabric case. All fits together to store well. Thank you OZ Armor

As a brand-new beekeeper, I researched a lot of suits before finding this one that completely met the criteria I set: Fully ventilated, lots of pockets, 2 veils, full leg zippers, Velcro closures on the wrist and ankle and knee pads. This is the only one that had all those things, and I really like it. The sizing is crazy, I’m 6’2” and 210 lbs with a 33” inseam, but the only 6’2” recommendations were at 246 (XXXL) and 250 lbs (XXXXL). I opted for the XXXL, and it was too large, with the crotch hanging halfway to my knees. I sent it back for the XXL, which fits great. Each order came in 2 days. I’m very pleased with the suit and the service.

Very good quality, love the long leg zippers and Velcro at ankles and wrists, no elastic to stretch out over time. Plenty of deep pockets, even a pen pocket, comfortable and well ventilated. Love having a choice of veils. Clearly put a lot of thought into the design. Per measurements I was XS but I would advise sizing up. It fits well once I get it on but tough getting into, torso is a little too short.! It’s well ventilated and I feel secure bees can’t get in.

The suit is great. It’s breathable, comfortable, and nicely made. The only gripe I have is there really should be mesh on the hood above your face. Sometimes you just have to look up and you can’t do that in this suit. I had a swarm in a tree and I needed to look up to get them down. I was not able to tilt my entire head and just needed to look up with my eyes and I was not able to with this suit. I had to switch suits and put on another that had mesh in the hood so I could see what I was doing.

I have a very HOT feral hive and they couldn't get through this thing. Comfortable and safe, I even bought my wife one.

I have 10 hives and this is the 3rd suit I've tried! I will be sticking with this one for sure! If I had to pick out a problem then the leg pockets for a hive tool are maybe a bit far back and could do with more material at the top to help stop catching the mesh when sliding the tool in but tbh Its being picky and i just use the arm pocket if i really need to put it away, also i may cut the velcro off the hip pockets as getting into them is a bit of a pain but then i also use a tool bag so meh! It's well made! The zips are smooth and the suit is super breathable! The hood stays up well, I've not used the hat as of yet! I would definatly spend the extra on this suit over a cheaper one for sure!

Despite paying for expedited delivery, it still took about 2-1/2 weeks to come to Canada from Australia. One of the 2 hoods arrived about 10 days later as it was back ordered. As to the product itself, I think it is great, fantastic, and so far sting-proof. It is expensive, but if you want the best, this is it.Graham Morgan

Habe ein wenig mit meiner Rezension gewartet, um den Anzug gründlich zu testen.Ich habe ihn jetzt fast ein Jahr. Er hat alles mitgemacht. Ich wurde nicht ein Mal durch diesen Anzug gestochen! Obwohl ich ihn an den heißen Tagen sogar nur mit Unterwäsche drunter getragen habe. (Trotz des Netzes ist er nicht durchsichtig.) Er ist gerade in der Sommerhitze richtig schön luftig, so daß man sich eben nicht, wie bei vielen anderen Anzügen, in einer Sauna befindet, sondern immer eine gute Durchlüftung hat. Wenn es kälter ist, ist er geräumig genug geschnitten, um eine Jacke bequem darunter zu ziehen, ohne sich wie eine Presswurst zu fühlen. Ich bin auch sehr froh gewesen, dass bei dieser Bestellung beide Imkerhüte dabei waren. Mit Anzug trage ich den Sheriff und wenn ich "mal nur so" schnell einen Imkerhut brauche, setzte ich den Hut auf. Durch das Kinnband ist er dann auch gegen Wind gut gesichert. Ich bin wirklich happy mit meinem Anzug !!!Gut, etwas gibt es immer zu verbessern, doch hierbei geht es nur um die Größenauswahl: Es wäre schön, wenn der Hersteller auch Kurzgrößen anbieten würde. Die Arme und Beine sind mir schon etwas lang, was aber durch die Klettverschlüsse nicht groß stört, da nichts rutscht. Nur wäre er dann etwas leichter.Ach so....auch die Lieferung war völlig problemlos. Ich glaube es waren vier Wochen Lieferzeit. Ich habe aber noch keinen Tag bereut, auf den Anzug gewartet zu haben! :-)

The multi-layered mesh suit keeps you cool on very hot days. Ample head room inside suit, your face keeps clear at the front so bees can’t sting your cheeks/nose. Only word of caution, take care near brambles as the mesh can snag on the prickles.
