Major Lazer is a collaborative project produced by Diplo(AKA Wesley Pentz) - the Grammy nominated founder of MadDecent Records and one of the most pioneering artists of thetime. Their 2010 mixtape Lazerproof and EP Lazers Never Die paved the way for a collaboration with Beyonce on her massive hit Run the World (Girls). In 2013 Major Lazer s second full length album Free The Universe - featuring Bruno Mars, Tyga, Flux Pavillion, Wynter Gordon, Shaggy, Wyclef, and Ezra Koening from Vampire Weekend was globally released. Spin called the LP s frst single "Get Free" ft. Amber Coffman (Dirty Projectors) a meeting point between Jamaica, West Africa,and Brooklyn. In 2015, Major Lazer will take their liberation movement to the next level - releasing three new albums featuring artists such as Usher, Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, RitaOra and more. Their lead single Lean On ft. MØ debuted in February and charted in 30 countries on release day. Major Lazer will also unveil a 12 episode animated cartoon series witha major US network this spring, as part of what is sure to be a truly groundbreaking year. Great Wall Art
This album is in my top 10 for any genre ever. It got me through my last year in high school, and the emotions I have gotten out of it are unreal. I love it. There isn't a whole lot to say about the album itself as long as you've heard the music. The sleeve has a nice printed design and the insert is colorful. The record plays just as it should. The whole reason I bought this was for wall art, and it looks magnificent in a frame. It's perfect for any fan

Where did this come from? Glad it did!
I don't recall why I bought this album, perhaps Skrillex got me here, but I don't regret it a bit! Such a good listen too, very eclectic, and well distributed sound. Seriously impressed. A few songs here make my other playlists for regular rotation. I hope you enjoy this too.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS!!!!
Anyone who has followed Diplo's MAJOR LAZER know that this is the funkiest man behind a synth. That being said his crew of DJS Walshy Fire and Jillonaire have refined their touch almost too awesomely. This album has some very very slick female vocal. NYLA on Light it Up is a Jamaican word smasher if you can clearly hear every word. Roll the Bass if by far their best throwback to their roots. This album if a BANGER if you've got four Infinity 15 in subs. If you don't have this soon, you'll simply not be cool.

Addicted
The first (and second and third...) time I heard Major Lazer I didn't really like it but now I am strangely addicted. Even though this album is available on Prime I still bought it to have on my ipod for workouts.

Genre bending at its finest
I knew Major Lazer as more of an Electro house Group than Raggae but love the blending of genre mixing into Peace is the Mission my favorite tracks are Powerful, Lean On and Night Riders

I bought this record on Vinyl, and it sounds excellent as you would hope for on Vinyl. There are so many different moods that your bound to find something you like to dance too.

Getting this Album in hand was one of the most satisfying things ever. I'm a huge Major Lazer fan and this was just the fuel to my flames. Every track is genius. Anyone who loves Major Lazer should get this like, immediately. :D
