Accurate Dimensions
Quality item and the dimensions are correct. We purchased the 1/2" female NPT to 3/8" barb version. We were a little concerned about purchasing based on some of the previous reviews about the barbed end diameter not being correct. We needed it to work with 3/8" ID hose and 1/2" pipe and it does. We measured the outside diameter of the barbed end at 0.394".

Great barb
This is what I was looking for. If you have alot of pressure I would add a pipe clamp. If you have trouble getting pipe on the barbs wet the surface or heat the pipe slightly. Heating the pipe then clamping while warm will mold the pipes to the barbs and give you a very strong and sealed fit..

Excellent component for carbonator
304 SS, female threads were smooth and made an air tight connection for my carbonator when wrapped with Teflon tape.

THESE are for 3/8 OD lines. NOT for 3/8 ID lines
The barb itself is 1/4 inch not 3/8 so these only work for 3/8 OD line. If you need something that will fit 3/8 ID line you need to find something else.Other than that they look sturdy and have a solid feel to them.

Different finish from photo
Photos advertised a completely machined finish. Barb fittings I received are cast and machined, with the hex portion still a rough cast texture. It's fine but not as nice and not as advertised. Classic Amazon stuff. Looks typical from some other photos on here.

Práctico
Utilizo las espigas para conectar mangueras de silicona de 1/2" a una bomba y se ajustan lo suficiente sin necesidad de abrazaderas. Son un poco más chicas que otras de la misma talla, pero fue el indicado para colocar y quitar las mangueras sin problemas.
