What diameter is the tube that goes through the Glass, is it 12mm or 16mm

I am not aware of any tube, unless you mean the tap dispenser?

Will the glass withstand boiling water?

It is made from Borosilicate glass which is the finest heat resistant glass and will withstand boiling water. It will also take some knocks without breaking, unlike cheaper glass and is dishwasher safe. I would not buy a glass dispenser that is not made from Borosilicate glass.

How long will hot drinks stay hot in this?

We used this product over the festive season for mulled wine, we had to put a candlelight under it to keep it warm I’d say it was still warm after an hour or so but not hot.

Does it pour with the lid closed or does it have a valve you need to have open?

The lid needs to be closed with a rubber valve on top pushed outward. Then open the tap to pour liquid.
