Puts a bit of a strain on my water pump because the inner diameter of the glass tube inside is very restrictive. Good price and nice glass, better suited for being fed with water pressure than a pump

Arrived in one piece after 10,500km postal journey taking one month 4 days (amazing). Glassware ( Dimroth condenser) 125 mm coil length 365mm overall is absolutely tiny. Looks much bigger online, however glass is flawless,no imperfections and well made. My only concern is the diameter of the coil. If i blow through one of the connections it feels very restricted due to size. Not sure how this will affect waterflow. I should have bought a larger length model i think, however i will see how it performs.

I like everything about this condenser. It's very well made, it's fairly long, so the coil can touch the inner side of the jacket, but it's not really an issue unless you're going to bang it around.The only thing that I could say would be an improvement would be a slightly larger inner diameter on the coil, the flow rate is limited, but nonetheless I had zero problems refluxing! I love it!

This condenser is my go-to for distillation and also great for total reflux, as it is very efficient even though it's compact.I use a recirculating cold/ice water source with it (ice water in an insulated container with a small pump) and have zero issues.I have the model with removable barbs. These are handy for getting hoses pointing in the best direction with the least strain.There might be an application for a longer one but I'm not sure what it would be. Generally everything condenses on the first three or four coils. Perhaps for very high volume distillations or reflux, but my 700w stirring mantle has never overpowered it.

I received this reflux condenser with a tiny hole in the reflux coil which caused water to drip into my reaction mixture. The seller VAGON CA was very understanding and helpful with my return, initiating a return almost instantly. Also I think the rough handling by the carrier might have led to the breakage (I saw the courier drop the box onto the ground in order to photograph it). I think I would have received a 5 star product if it hadn't been broken, but I am giving 4 stars for the combination of a 1 star product and 6 star customer service.
