Rob Papen The Four Element Synth

I've almost completed the course and I am very glad I took the time to go through it. Rob Papen has great respect from me for both his synthesizers and his sound design. His four element synth is a great approach to learning subtractive synthesis. I've already recommended the course to a friend and will do so again. Though it might be obvious, be sure to watch the DVDs with good speakers. Some of the lessons cover subtle changes in timbre and lower end speakers probably won't be able to reproduce them.

What a great starting point for anyone getting into Subtractive Synthesis.A few typos in the book but not so bad that you can't get what they mean. The vids are great and the book really goes into detail.And the price is a steal! trust me, buy this if you are beginning or would like to sharpen your skills.
