Lamps are replaceable so that's a big bonus, lamp body is of a quality construction, but wiring baseplate is made of light plastic not to same standard as housing. Used as a bulkhead light, the 180 degree rotation only works on one side of the lamp so facing base plate screws are exposed, coloured in with black marker so looks ok.

Bought three different Steinel lights. This is not the best of them . The floods are great as is the uplighter this spot however won't behave in terms of acting as a motion detector . Its fine as a spotlight if left on in constant but I can't get it to go off and then come back on with motion .

Not cheaply made

It is a very well made,at this price it should be. My problem is How to get the app, as you cannot configure it without it. I thought you would be able to adjust it manually as well.

the range is excellent but the motion sensor is defective. The light turns off then back on straightaway and can find no manual or support.

Purchased the non Bluetooth version. Already have 6 x Steinel L190 which work well and feel like a high quality build despite the plastic backplate. The heavy duo spotlights seem well built but the light weight backplate they attach to is a creaky low quality item. After fitting, realised the lamps were on continuously flashing on/off. Further investigation in controlled conditions showed both independent motion sensors faulty as they were very over sensitive and have no way to adjust. Returned and not keen to risk wasting further time on a second unit. Now stuck having to move the cable and make good fixing holes so an alternative lamp can be fitted.
