Both have a split on one side of the opening, and the bottom drawer on one slides out too easily when moved, but the colors are beautiful, and they go with our decor.

Tissue boxes were as described when they arrived. They had a paint volatile off gassing smell, so we put them in the sun for about a week to off gas.After a few months of use, we noticed the antiqued paint is flaking off. I'll have to spary them with a light coat or two of poly, probably satin, to keep this from happening in the future.EDIT: Ended up needing three spray can coats of clear poly coat to set the original antique paint and keep it from flaking off. I used a satin clear poly to best keep the original look.

Love the coloring and look to these boxes. Worked well with my decor. Heavy enough to pull a tissue without the box moving.

I liked this pair of tissue holders so much that I ordered another pair! The rustic desogn works well in a room that is casual or country look. The wash shows a nice blend of brown and white. However, the tissue holder can be painted or washed over with another color if you want to customize it more. The slider on the bottom is a nice touch, as it keeps the tissue box in place. In other reviews, there have been complaints of "gouges' or scratches, etc in some of the holders. In my opinion, this in keeping with the rustic look of the box. The texture is the nature of raw bamboo. No two are alike which is an interesting touch. Things shouldn't always matchy matchy. It depends on the look you are going for. If you want more formal these aren't for you. Well made at a great price point! I am delighted with them!

Like this tissue box covers. They fit well. (They're a little big, but still OK.) There is a bottom sliding panel that encloses the entire box, so you can easily pick them up and move them without the tissue box inside falling out.I did deduct one star, since in the photo, they look more gray than brown, and when received they are MUCH more brown than gray. Still attractive, still the look I'm going for, just not QUITE the correct color. Even so, it was not off enough for me to return them. :)They look very nice in the living room and they're about 10000% better than the cardboard box of kleenex that was there previously.

Very well constructed and easy to use product. One looks beautiful in my bathroom and the other in my den, which is all farmhouse and rustic. I just adore the whitewashed barn wood. Great idea! These tissue boxes were easy to load and should last forever given the materials used! I did not rate "softness" in this review because there is nothing soft about them. A good buy for the set of two. I had to laugh because as soon as I bought them, I discovered that a friend of mine had discovered the same deal and there it was in the guest bathroom. Way to go Amazon!

These tissue box covers are very nice and well made. Due to their neutral color scheme they match all kinds of interior style. Unlike most tissue covers these have a bottom that slides in and out easy. Good craftsmanship on these products, and the price is amazing considering you receive two of those. They really look handmade.

I liked these box covers so well that I ordered another four for my summer cabin. No more reaching for a tissue only to have the whole tissue box come with the tissue. It’s easy to change tissue boxes when the tissues run out thanks to the lovely slide out bottom on cover box. Looks good in both minimalist design and antique decor. Well made.

One out of two of the boxes came broken on the bottom, so if you were to break off the piece that came broken, it will sit lop sided….it’s also like tinder wood and seems very fragile in general like say if your toddler picked it up and dropped it, it most likely would break again or snap at some point…. Agree with the other review on here too, they are also very bulky, I didn’t expect them to be so large? I 100% would not recommend buying these at all.

These arrived wrapped in plastic wrap. One of them was broken. They smelled awful like a barn or outhouse. They are big and bulky. I do not recommend at all!
