Essential for field notes.
Fits in cargo pocket or Hi-viz Vest pocket. Useful for field record. It is expensive for a made in China product (unlike the Sokkias from 25yrs ago) but cheaper than buying retail. Binding is susceptible to degrading with exposure to moisture from rain or even just sweat. Remains a good field tool..

AS A FORMER SURVEYOR AND NOW LANDMAN, I'VE BEEN KEEPING ALL MY DAILY ACTIVITIES IN THESE BOOKS SINCE 1998. IF ANYONE CAN FIND EM CHEAPER, LET ME KNOW. I'VE GOT ABOUT 200 STACKED UP IN MY BOOKCASE. IF I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I DID ON 2/25/2002, I GOT THE NOTES. WATERPROOF, PRACTICALLY INDESTRUCTABLE. FITS IN BACK POCKET OF LEVIS.

Probably won’t order again
I don’t like how the paper is lined and gridded. It’s too tight for my needs. Disclosure… I’m not a surveyor. I also like my notebooks to have a fixed ribbon so I can immediately open to my last entry. I’m sure it’s durable although but I’ve not tested if. Actually, I probably won’t. I’ll go back to what I have previously used. Not my deal.
