My mother really enjoyed this barley grass powder’s texture and taste and asked me to reorder 2 more bags before she ran out. However on the second order she said that the colors were very different from her first bag, much darker green. The taste was also different, so salty that it was practically inedible. It’s not even supposed to be salty at all. So I’m worried about what she was even ingesting this time and told her to throw it all away. Unfortunately we can’t get a return/replacement because we missed the window-she had asked me to reorder well in advance of her running out and didn’t open the new bags until about a month later. They are not expired and she kept them in a cool dry place before opening. It’s too bad because she really liked the original and was starting to feel the health benefits. But the inconsistencies are just too great for me to have faith in reordering, so I’ll have to look for another brand.

I am doing a detox that required barley grass powder as one of the ingredients for my daily smoothie. There aren't any off putting smells or flavors and I find that the powder blends well and doesn't clump, although I am using a Vitamix. Also, I found the price to be reasonable for a smaller 8 oz size as I was not wanting to order a larger size especially if I am trying a new brand, which was the case here.

I really like this product quality, but it's very messy to scoop out - the green can stain things and I get it all over my hand when I scoop it. But I guess I will just put it in another container until they get a better package. The product is worthy!

The taste is not all that bad I thought it would be worse tonight. I take spirulina of sale and I mix them both in orange juice and it does not taste bad

I use this barely grass, turmeric, and lots of different fruits. This combination is making all the difference in my joint pain

It works just fine, as part of a detox regimen and sure saves a lot of work.

It's awesome. I have so much more energy! I feel refreshed and I don't crave so much anymore.
