This product is awesome. I used it to straighten my natural hair to attend a wedding. I live in Louisiana and the weather is very humid. To my surprise, the wedding was to take place outdoors. After 20 minutes, I noticed several individuals hair started to frizz. I just knew my hair was a part of the causality. Boy was I wrong, my hair remained un-frizz throughout the night. My hair usually frizz immediately and for me this was like a miracle.

Works well

I am a huge fan of their hairspray, but this goop just doesn't work. It sort of makes hair oily without the holding power of gel. I used it once, and now it is in the giveaway box.

Love this stuff! My hair doesn't look greasy, just shiny and smooth. The trick is finding the perfect amount to use based on how long your hair is.

I had to review this product when I saw that it only had 3 stars.This product saved my life - well, without being too dramatic it at the very least allowed me to enjoy straight hair through humidity, rain or whatever else mother nature throws my way. I have 3b curly hair and never in my life had I been able to enjoy silky bone straight hair even on Day 1 of the wash and blow! (curly girls will know what I mean). I normally wear my hair curly in the spring and summer, from April until about November, but I have used this product in the middle of humid north east coast summers and my straight hair has lasted through it. Need to go to the gym? You're covered. Sweaty night at the club? No problem! This is a game changer.The trick here is that you HAVE to follow the instructions. This product is heat activated so if you are going for bone straight hair you have to use a flat iron more than 400 degrees (I use 425). The only thing I can say negatively about this product is that although the website states that it acts as a thermal protectant, I did notice that when I used it without an additional protector on, the high heat needed for it to work straightened out my curl pattern a bit and even left a few straight pieces when it was time to go curly. This is a big 'no-no' for me because I do love my curls but I fixed this issue by applying a heat protectant after my normal wash and condition (I use and swear by Pureology Essential Repair Split End Corrective Treatment), then I apply the Lok and Blok ( a little goes a looooong way). I blow dry in sections and pass through with my flat iron at 425 degrees (adding a tiny bit of coconut oil to my ends for extra protection before flat ironing). The result, beautiful, shiny, bone straight hair. Most people that meet me with my hair straight have no idea how curly my hair can even get and I owe that completely to this product. For all of my 35 years of attempting straight hair, I have searched for a solution that can get it straight and keep it straight without having to go to the salon and this product has done that for me.If you are looking for that same solution for your hair, buy this product, follow the instructions, straighten that hair and give that straight hair the ole gym test. Lol. You wont regret it.

Worked well for my hair, you can't use a lot of it though. Been fighting the frizz all my life. It's not a miracle but I liked it, and it helped more than anything else I've tried.
