Not a bad little enclosure. Slightly fiddly to put together, there are a couple of little button covers that you have to keep in place while sliding the board back in, took me a few tries to get it right. Comes with everything you need to put it together, including screws for the hard drive and a little screwdriver. Interestingly enough it uses a mini usb3 port (not the more common micro) which I haven't seen on other drives, but fortunately the cable is included. All things considered a great package for the low price.

It's pretty much what you would expect for the money. Aluminum top and bottom with a plastic center section that the drive mounts to. The PCB that has the SATA<->USB 3.0 interface controller is the full size of the case and mounts to the drive. This is much more mechanically robust than the "end-launch" type. Should support any magnetic or SSD 2.5" drive. USB 3 is the mini-b form factor. Top and bottom have a soft feel coating. Works perfectly

Works great and feels solid. Only complain is that the power switch (which to me is not needed) is small and kind of difficult to slide on and off easily. But that is just me being picky probably. :) If they didn't take extra time to ship from Amazon (that is what item says in cart) I would have bought more.

Speeds are ok and proprietary type plug/ hard to find usb plug make mark it down one star. Love other then seems durable and keeps my old drive in use so can't complain.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a case for a thick 1 TB drive. Finally found this one. It fit perfectly. Easy to assemble and the finished hd assembly is very professional looking. The top and bottom of the case is a skid resistant flat black finish which I like because the drive tends to stay put.

I bought this to compare to another brand that looked the same. This was $5 less and is the same except even though it is USB 3.0, The connector on the case is a mini USB like the USB 2.0 but it does not change the transfer speed. It works just as well as Sabrent..!

This is very nice and works perfectly. It was a little difficult to figure out how to open though. So for any one, else what I did was use a small flat head screw driver and pop off the black shields on the top ava bottom of the unit.

Works well.
