Not an Intuitive nor Easy to Use Player/Recorder
This player is not very well made. It plays and performs its functions fairly well. It records, plays the radio, plays videos or MP3 music. I used it when working on projects. My biggest complaint is that it is not intuitive. One has to work at understanding how to select functions and songs etc. The control button is not natural to operate and takes patience to use. This is not ideal for a recreational player. It was inexpensive, so I can't complain too much about its functionality without mentioning that aspect. I bought a RCA MP3 player years ago that has been put through the ringer in all types of environments, except under water of course. This player is inferior to my old one, so it acts as a standby for the old one. I believe one would be better off putting a little more money into a better, more easily operated unit.

Don't bother.
Highly disappointed. Did not want to buy an off brand, but with our hosting students there were rules. I did not have high expectations, just the expectation that it would function and hold a charge. I purchased before they arrived and now have passed the limited return window. Don't bother purchasing.

JUNK!!!
Junk! Just a piece of junk. It's easy to use and good sound quality. However, the battery will only last about an hour when it is fully recharged. Sometimes I think Amazon has these 50% off items just to get rid of junk from their warehouses.

Chinese junk. The instructions didn't match the function of the buttons. The response of the unit is slow. The sound quality is poor with no depth in the sound. Buttons didn't work some of the time

Disappointing
I wasn't expecting the best product at that price, but the device is simply unusable. During MP3 playback the device shuts down every 5 minutes. The navigation is horrid and the settings are not retained when powered off. Spend the extra $15 on a Sansa or Sandisk.

Issues w/ laptop connection.
Unit worked for 30 days, then it began causing an error msg intermittently every time connected to my MacBook. 5-6 daysafter the return date. Unit does function beyond this problem. See attached photo of error msg. Please note that I've tried w/the unit ON and OFF. Same result, error message.

Great np3 player
Great np3 player. Great price. I haven't found any negatives about it yet. Its very small and easy to put into pocket. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good mp3 player.
