Screen Replacement for iPhone 7 Pre-Assembled LCD Display and 3D Touch Screen Digitizer Replacement with Proximity Sensor, Ear Speaker, Front Camera and Repair Tools (White)

This was a good kit, aside from needing a hair dryer to soften the adhesive around the screen, all other tools needed were included. Unfortunately, after reassembly, the lower half of the screen's digitizer doesn't work. No touch response. This was for my daughter's phone; aside from the cracked screen, it was also having intermittent charging issues. So I figured I'd take a crack at that while the screen was off. So, now it charges but the really nice looking screen doesn't work. :)The quality of the glass is off; there's a lot more drag felt by the finger. You can see a pattern in it if you wipe it with the alcohol pad included in the screen protector kit. Not sure what's going on there, but it's less than optimal. If you're in a pinch though, this 'could' be a decent attempt at phone resurrection before you throw in the towel and buy a new one.

First of all, the replacement screen appears to be just like the original it was replacing but without the little apple logos on the internals. That being said, it worked just like the original once it was installed. I’ve had it installed for several weeks now and it works just like the original. The colors and brightness seem the same as does the touch responsiveness. For the price, it is a good value compared to taking to a repair shop.I’ve changed screens on iphone 5’s and 6’s and this was my first time trying a screen replacement on an iphone7. It was a little more challenging but still possible. With a shattered screen, I found the suction cup to lift up the glass. I ended up using a hair dryer to heat the edges so I could pry up the screen.One thing that would make this screen even better would be to include a replacement screen seal for reassembly. Once you take the phone apart, it tears up part of the seal rendering the phone less water resistant.

I can tell no real difference in the screen. The install was fairly simple but I do work in the tech industry. If I was non-technical, I would consider having someone who is technical assist with the install.Make sure backups have been taken of the phone in case this install fails.I did have a few glitches when pressing down in certain areas. I believe this was due to the lack of adhesive (there was a clicking sound when pushing on the bottom right of the phone). Eventually, I was able to situate the screen to fit snug and the glitches stopped.Note: The screen does not do well with polarized sun glasses. If the phone is turned horizontally, the polarized lens will darken the screen to the point that you can’t see image anymore.Overall, a cheap and effective replacement.

Would have given it five stars but the proximity sensor does not work! Overall though the screen came in a nice foam shielded package with everything mentioned in the description. Installation was a breeze, I followed an ifixit guide I found online to do the replacement and to transfer the home button. Fit and finish is nice, everything fits perfectly and snapped nicely into place. This is an excellent option and for $35 you can’t go wrong. All areas of the screen work as does 3D Touch. The included screen protector is a nice touch! Overall pretty happy except for the proximity sensor issue which isn’t too big a deal except for when you make a phone call and the screen remains on...

I have replaced several phone screens for my friends and family members but several of these companies don't succeed so I haven't been able to continue using the same brand unfortunately. I gave this one a try because it had good reviews and was similarly priced to other I've purchased in the past. Install went fine/normal and the screen worked well for around 3 weeks. Then it went dark and would not illuminate anymore. We weren't at a convenient time to deal with exchanging it out with Amazon so I had to have it replaced at a local repair store. This is the only aftermarket screen that has failed on me so I probably won't use it again.

This screen replacement works with factory iPhone 7. Pretty simple to install by following youtube instructions. My daughter immediately noticed the display color is different. She said it's okay and she will get use to it.Note: This kit does not include home button. You will need transfer your original home button to this kit.

The tools that came with it did not open up some of the screws inside my phone so I ended up having to go out to get it fixed by a professional. After using the screen for a while, sometimes the response is slow and my home button is no longer usable. Also the phone overheats and battery dies while not in use.

No instructions, but at this point folks (like me) should be used to replace iPhone 7 screens, and not need them. The replacement screen also contained all the stuff you had to transfer in the old days, except for the button. Replacing the screen took literally less than 10 minutes and I only used one out of the 4 screw drivers. It looks good and it behaves. 5 stars, best one so far.
