I just got back from a vacation to Curaçao and wanted a book that I could cook the local food from. This totally delivered. I made a recipe last night and it was amazing and just as I remembered. Highly recommend. It is in Dutch, so if you cannot translate it, you may have to find someone who can.

I lived in Curacao for 4 years and this book has a lot of the food I enjoyed on the island. Its a must if you loved the food from there.

I was born on the island, wanted to cook like my memory served. This book did not disappoint. Excellent. It is in dutch but with google translate you will come quite far.Highly recommended.

Bien súper leuk boek

I recently visited Aruba and became fascinated with the local cuisine. After I returned, I searched for a recipe book and found this one. It’s in Dutch, a language which I am currently studying. However, these days translation apps allow you to place your phone ove a page for an instant translation. The book is full of wonderful recipes and very well put together. I have already made pastechi filled with cheese which the family devoured! I have so many more meals planned from this book. Chef Jurino Ignacio has put a lot of work into this book and the recipes are explained in detail. The book is well constructed with glossy pages and colour pictures. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that would like to explore the delicious cuisine of the region.
