This kettle not only heats up very quickly but also looks amazing in my kitchen, I like that is is BPA free and being cordless makes it very convenient for my needs! it fits almost 2 liters of water! that is a lot! it is perfect for when I have people over and make tea for everyone! All in all : beautiful and efficient!

I have not had the kettle for very long, but after a couple uses so far I am very pleased with this item. It seems well constructed and I expect it to last. It comes with a 3 year manufacturer's warranty, so it is nice having that little bit of extra peace of mind.The kettle is made of glass with a plastic handle, similar to the materials of a regular coffee pot but heavier. The base is plastic and has a convenient area under it for storing the power cord for easy portability. The power switch is conveniently located on the handle and the pot lights up an attractive blue when powered on reminiscent of the blue flame of a gas stove.I purchased this so I could have hot water in my home office away from the kitchen. Also it's nice to have the added security of not worrying about leaving a boiling kettle on the stove unattended. 1 liter (4 cups) of water took approximately 5 minutes to get to a full boil. Once it reaches boiling, the kettle shuts off automatically. The instructions that come with the kettle for care and operation are detailed. Like other coffee pots you need to maintain it to prevent limescale and such with vinegar or CLR. Mine is still too new so haven't really gotten to this point yet.I'm pleased with this item and would reccomend it.

Wow I’m impressed, I was shopping for new tea kettles and stumbled across this bad boy. Wow, I’ll never go back to a kettle. If your on the fence about getting one of these don’t hesitate. I don’t do reviews however this one I had to speak up for. Boils fast and hot. No whistle and it automatically shuts off if your called away from the kettle. Light to show it’s in operation is kool to say the least. The handy on and off switch is very convenient. The fact you can set it on a table after warming to entertain is a huge plus. The portability and easy to use function is remarkable. I would recommend to anyone who has never tried an electric kettle. This unit is better quality also. Happy tea time. Bob H.

UPDATE 2/25: No longer shocked by 5 star reviews. It's because when you submit a bad review they send you an email asking you to delete it in exchange for $$. Everything is perfectly clear. Downgraded to 1* and obviously didn't take them up on their offer. They actually say in the email "I know this request is brusque and unreasonable. You know negative reviews have an impact on our listing." Yes and yes, that's kind of the idea behind reviews right? good product = good review, bad product = bad review. good review=good impact, bad review=bad impact. Ok, just making sure we all understood how this is SUPPOSED to work. Cool.OG review: I’m utterly shocked by the # of 5 star reviews. Does it boil water? Yes. Does it light up with pretty blue lights? Affirmative. Does it also have a terribly awkward and heavy lid, that doesn’t stay open and slams closed? Yep. Is the power button in a really bad place, so that you always turn on the kettle when you try to get leverage to open the awkward heavy lid? Yep yep! Oh yeah, because the mechanism to lift the awkward heavy lid is also awkward! There is no thought of steam disbursement when pouring, in the design, either. The steam burns my fingers when I pour. It also makes an awful cracking sound almost every time you pour the hot water from it. I've owned other electric kettles and have never heard anything like it. I'm expecting it to break at any point. It's a terribly designed appliance. I gave it 2 stars because it boils water.

I am extremely satisfied with the Hadineeon Electric Kettle. It is attractive, easy to clean and heats quickly. It holds up to 1.7 liters of water. Plastic is only used on the exterior of the kettle. The water is in contact with glass and stainless steel, so there is no unwanted tastes. The blue LED's are a great addition, as they light up when heating and give the appearance of being on a gas burner. This kettle is a great value, and I would definitely buy again!

The water splashes when you pour and steam bellows out on your hand from a not centered lid I reached out to company with photos and revived no response the outer glass does get very hot to the touch. Very loud when boiling. The blue light is very and they were offering coupons for good reviews beware of all the good reviews pretty and the wide opening is easy to get your hand into for cleaning then I get this coupon to write a review and I’ll get a 15.00 gift card smh I told the company I wanted a refund!

This kettle is gorgeous and feels solid, but mine is defective. Automatic shut off doesn’t work, and steam comes out of the switch! The handle was so hot! When I went to turn it off (since auto feature wasn’t there) I burned my hand! Sending it back! Be careful!Follow up: the customer service reps reached out to me after reading my review and immediately sent me another one that works beautifully.Thank you!

The stainless steel on the bottom of my pot was initially shiny and bright. After just a few uses, using filtered water, the bottom began to "grow" or develop weird white spots. I have absolutely never had this problem with stainless steel before. I think the bottom might not be stainless steel because there is no other explanation for these spots. Now I'm afraid to use it and I no longer have the packaging to return it in. Plus, it's so annoying and discouraging when I take the time to purchase an item, spend $30 dollars, unpack and set up the item, use it 2 or 3 times and discover it's defective. The white spots are nearly impossible to remove. This item is useless to me and now I'm out 30 bucks. I actually tried to use it the other day despite the white spots and all the water leaked out. This product is such a piece of garbage. I'm so disappointed. I think the seller should reimburse me, but I contacted the seller and didn't receive a reply.

After reading about a news report that using plastic kettle to boil water exposes the user to some amount of BPA chemicals, I decided to switch to this glass one.It arrived quickly and this review is written after two days of normal usage.The kettle does boils reasonably quickly (my old kettle was a 3kw one while this one is only 2.2kw, but of similar boiling speed). Noise level is also fine. I didn't notice any taste difference of the water comparing with that from the plastic kettle (we are in soft water area). The spout pours beautifully.And it does look prettier than my old plastic kettle.The downsides I do find so far, are:(1) When opening the lid condensation water may fall backwards towards the handle, and if the kettle is still warm/hot then, the condensation water will also be warm and may scald your hand. I think this is a lid design fault.(2) the kettle's base has only one opening for cable to come out; so I have left with either too short the cable once plugged in, or too much cable outside. My old Philips kettle is of a lot better design on the base - it has 3 opening for the cable to come out of the base and I can tuck most cable under the base and let the cable out at the nearest opening, so not much extra cable is outside in the view and looks really neat.Overall, so far I am happy with purchase. It's a kettle and it does boil water, and pours out fine. I will leave it with 4 star for now and will adjust after a bit more use on the product.----update after 1 week of normal use:I am overall happy with the kettle and have updated the review to 5 stars.

Since I left the initial review I’ve been using the kettle many times a day, every day for over 3 months. I’ve had no problems with it and it still looks great. Happy to give a 5 star rating.I bought this as a replacement for a glass kettle bought in August which just stopped working. I'm hoping this lasts longer. It is a nice design, looks good and boils quite quickly. The noise level is acceptable and doesn't cause any problems - its in a kitchen after all. I consider it value for money and know that buying through Amazon gives me better consumer protection than some other online suppliers.

Disgusted that an expensive limited edition kettle from uk manufacture failed and could not get switch part or repair. So searched extensively for a quick replacement. Saw good reviews on web for Hadineeon and then looked at amazon and it’s comments/reviews and chose the DE1733. It was delivered next day and is fantastic. Very nice looking, a great, very quiet performer- comes up to scratch on all the points described in the text when purchasing. Ergonomic and great to fill and use. And there’s a three warranty! Very pleased!

This kettle boils quite quickly, and looks really nice as it does so!! It's got a great capacity so if we have guests I can still make drinks for everyone without having to do several boils!My kids absolutely love being able to watch the water boil as well (so do I)

This kettle is great. Great design and sits well in your hand when you hold it. Love to see the bright blue light when it is on,. The bottom looks like diamonds. Anybody would love it.
