This thing is amazing!
(TLDR; This thing's a beast.) This topper is probably one of the best ones you could get for the price. Its so clean and slick. The clip included could use a replacement tbh with a better one. I work at a zoo so having the ability to clip a 32oz widemouth waterbottle to my hip as i walk around is seriously amazing! Just make sure you are wearing a hefty belt to keep your pants from sagging too much! The topper is easy to clean and the straws are too. I use only water so washing the bottle and top is a serious breeze. The mouthpiece silicone is the only thing youd want to scrub clean. The straws will need an inch or two cut to fit in your waterbottle (just be safe and use a straightedge for a fine look to it instead of a serrated edge) and it includes a smaller straw and a longer straw. Since i own a 48oz and a 32 oz, this topper can fit on both of them and i dont have to worry about buying two! I also grow mint so i will put a couple leaves in with the cold water and it still washes easily. This thing is seriously the best and if you are hyper focused on cleaning your stuff you can take it fully apart and handwash it all. Let it all airdry over the span of an overnight or of daytime and make sure you use only cold to warm temp water. Keep the original top of your water bottle if you want to use boiling water in your TRITAN nalgene instead of your HDPE because that will melt this top I'd think. I would happily recommend this to my friends if i had any that were into nature and the outdoors like me. Treat it well and it will treat you well. (I am not paid to do this review at all, i just love this thing. You seriously cant go wrong with it.) I also should add in the fact that i do get a couple leaks but thats only because i fill my aterbottle up to near full and the pressure difference between the top and the bottle equilizes and will squirt a little between the silicone and the mouthpiece but thats seriously ok. If you dont like that you can tilt the water back into the mouthpiece and slurp it up. I wouldnt have the bottle rest on the side just to prevent from anymore water slipping out but that wont or shouldnt happen until its worn out and down.

I was even happier when I received the lid and tried it out
I purchased some of the straw lids that are more default for my hydroflask [not this kind but the black/gray kind you see all over amazon] previously and they started getting really awful black mold inside them that scrubbing could not remove, which led me to looking up other style lid tops- and I fell upon this product. First off, I adore the fact that I can remove the little silicone piece around the top of the straw and essentially fully take this straw apart without much issue. I was even happier when I received the lid and tried it out, as it's really easy to twist and remove it. There are a few reviews complaining it was too hard or difficult, I'm not trying to say that they are wrong- maybe their product was harder than mine to remove the detachable bits from- but I ordered two, one for my wife and one for myself- and both are pretty easy. I think I'll likely buy two more just to swap between so we can wash them in our dishwasher on a weekly basis. Second, I've had absolutely no leakage. Once again, some reviews did say theirs leaked. My wife and I both have hydroflasks and it seems to be a perfect seal, I've held it upside down to test it and even shaken the thing, the straw won't unfold unless you push it up, and it has a great seal from what I can see, so I would definitely recommend this over the other style lids out there. The last thing to really note is the straw, they give you two different sizes, but if you have a 32oz or 64oz hydroflask, you will have to cut them, and the straws are actually a pretty thick plastic so it's not the easiest task in the world, but we got a really clean cut using a razor blade utility knife. The old straws I had from my old lids won't fit it, but I kind of like that these straws are wider on the inside- it makes them easier to clean and if you enjoy bobba tea, I think the little bobba pearls may actually fit in this straw, but not sure if it would work with the lid itself, it's hard to say. You could try it out possibly without the lid! I will be buying more of these, I'm pretty sure. I did a lot of research looking through reviews before I decided on this and I have to say I'm really glad I found this lid, it works wonderfully.

Don't buy the Hydroflask brand straw lid-- it's garb. GET THIS ONE.
This is an amazing replacement for the Hydroflask brand straw lid. I'm really particular about my Hydroflask... it's my baby and I use it every day. So these things really matter to me, lol. The Hydroflask brand straw lid was a complete waste of $10. First of all, they revamped it to being all plastic (no rubber/silicone material, probably as a result of complaints they got of mold growing inside the straw). The plastic causes it to LEAK LIKE CRAZY every single time you tip it on its side or upside down since theres no rubber to stop it. This was a major disappointment to me. Second of all, its hard and when you push the nozzle in, its level with the lid... meaning it's really easy to accidentally touch the mouthpiece, and yknow, germs. Oh, and lastly this plastic lets some temperature go out. After putting ice in my flask, I noticed the whole lid was sweating... which defeats the purpose of why I bought my Hydroflask in the first place. But, this one is amazing.I decided to not deal with the old one and got this one instead. All my leaking problems were solved. This one absolutely NEVER leaks on me, and I could set it upside down without ever worrying about water spilling inside my purse or on anything. The cap feels so heavy duty. I love the tough silicone nozzle and the tire-track look of the lid is very sporty. Also, the rubber inside the loop is a nice touch. I also love how you can take apart the mouth piece so you can really get in there and clean it.One thing I will say that was kind of annoying is that the straw is really hard to cut. I had to get some heavy duty scissors to cut it to fit my 20oz. Also, another annoying thing (which is also stated in the reviews) is that the lid is hard to screw on sometimes. I'm scared of "stripping" the screw part of the lid, but for some reason it doesn't always sit on top of the flask evenly. To get around this, I just try to screw it on really slowly and gently so I don't ruin the lid-- but it's manageable.
