Ever.Lucky us, we have eleventy-hundred family birthdays in May, so we decided to give them to 2 of our kids! We had 2 pairs made- 1 with mom's face, 1 with dad's so they'd each have a sock from each parent. WHAT!?! Who knew it was possible to be this awesome at parenting. It also avoids that awkward bday moment when your kids fight over the socks with their favorite parent (clearly me).

Yes, out of the box, these were a huge hit, they look great. But that's where the fun ends. It's too bad, because these were a huge hit at Christmas, bought quite a few pairs, and everyone loved them. So if you never wash them, they look great. But now I'm left with the dreaded apology email I need to send to all to let them know their cute socks are basically junk. After just one wash in warm/regular, they are now worn and tattered - see the pics for what they look like after just one wash. But the problems started before that. These are basically white socks that are printed on; they aren't colored socks. So even before I washed them, after trying them on, I could very clearly see the fabric stretch and look almost striped. My black socks looked grayish - and forget the custom design I added, that stretched out so much it wasn't even recognizable. Overall, they are comfortable though. (But I can get generic comfortable socks for $2.) So while these are a really cool novelty, as far as practical use, I would highly not recommend.

My best friends birthday was a problem in obtaining a unique gift, I had already exercised most all personalized gifts I thought possible until I saw these!! I sent in a picture of her newly rescued dog, a bit concerned as I did not think the picture I "borrowed" off her social media was the best? But did not want to make a fuss about taking as knew she would guess something was up, so went with what was at hand & hoped for the best... Arrived before expected (GREAT bonus!) and I was delighted!!! The somewhat questionable picture was turned into a product I was so excited to provide, the socks themselves are lightweight? Perfect for Florida, & honestly? Not concerned about wearing, it is a personalized gift anyone would love, great price, picture-perfect & my friend was so delighted she was teary. I HIGHLY recommend this sellers product as I looked at several, some higher in the price? But ALL was fabulous, & would def buy again for another gift!!

I bought a pair of these each for my family. My husband's had our dog's face on them. The kids' socks had my face on them - they each got a delightfully weird expression. Bizarre...but elicited the laughter I was hoping for.As to the comfort of the socks...weeeeeell. Let's just say I have observed the family wearing them precisely once; Christmas Day. Other than that, they've been avoided. They're pretty tight, and there's not a lot of give to them. They're too tight for my youngest (and largest) child. For the other children....I mean they fit ok, but aren't terribly comfortable.These socks are a gift to give to enjoy looking at but not wearing. A solid 3 stars for the fun reaction when the gift is opened, but that's it. Pity about the lack of wearability.

Terrible quality. They were already falling apart when I opened the package and the picture is barely visible. I even emailed the seller when I first ordered it to make sure it would work/show up ok on the socks. A waste of money.

I have never written an Amazon review but this process was quick and easy, and product is a great buy for the price, so I felt I'd share it here. I've already spread the word and several coworkers ordered Christmas gifts after seeing mine. All are very pleased! I hesitated knowing they weren't Prime (we're all spoiled that way, I know), but from order to delivery, it took ten days. Not bad at ALL for a custom product.Real talk - if you're looking for super comfy, great quality socks, these won't impress you. BUT I think a large part of that is out of necessity for the printing. They are totally wearable, though.I got a pair of similar socks as a gift a few years ago from a popular online company known for a similar product - these are WAY better. The photo on that other pair had to be fit to a head shape template and looked a little weird. It wasn't cut out properly. All I did on this order was upload the picture and the company was able to perfectly cut out the shape our our dog's face holding a big toy. I can't wait to give these as a gift. They look a lot more expensive than the price and they're a fun gift. Highly recommend!

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. Every year I have a hard time thinking of gifts for him. When I saw that I could have custom socks made with my granddaughter's picture on them I was sold! The socks look better than I had even imagined they would. The picture is clear and the socks seem to be good quality. They arrived very quickly, too. I will definitely buy more in the future. They make such a perfect gift!

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the crop of the picture was poor. To be fair, it was an unusual subject (a pet reptile) but the choice of cropping was still very odd. It was supposed to be a gift for a friend and I was A little disappointed and embarrassed to give it to her since it made her reptile look goofy but she still liked it. I’ve seen others have come out nicely so I’m sure mine was just a mess up or difficult to do.
