LANGE Q&A: Mammography Examination, 3rd Edition 3rd Edition

This book contains good information. I have not taken my boards yet but feel pretty well prepared. I will say this book contains a lot of typos. Be careful when checking your answers because it may say the answer is option B but when you check the explanation of the answer it will repeat exactly the answer from option A. If you are not careful you may think the wrong answer is correct and have the wrong idea in your head. I have studied from three different sources and can usually catch it when they show a wrong answer. Overall I would say this is a good book but I would use other sources of study as well.

I reviewed all the quizzes and exams! It really helped me a lot to pass my board exam. If your taking your boards, this a great addition to your studies.

I studied this book from front to back multiple times until I was completely comfortable with the material. I took the exam yesterday and I only recognized about half of the questions from this book. I had to rely on experience or complete guesses with the other half of the questions. I was sure I was going to bomb the test but luckily I passed. As other reviewers have mentioned, do NOT study this book alone. It has great information, but not enough. If you don't already have experience with mammography, I especially suggest using additional study material. I think my experience over the past year helped me answer the other half of the questions that were not in this book.

This book definitely helped me for my mammography registry! I would suggest using this book as well as the other one by the author. A few errors were within the book but overall fairly happy with it. Used both books by this author as well as the 40 hour course from Rad Comm and scored a preliminary score of 92. Good luck!

This book was good and definitely helped pass boards. Some of the information I found was inaccurate however. MAKE SURE TO BUY THE OTHER BOOK AS THIS IS JUST A CONDENSED VERSION OF THE OTHER ONE!!!

I think this book did help a lot. I just took my board exam today and scored a preliminary score 0f 87. You'd definitely need the other book that this author has out. I think it's the prep book. I feel there were some things I wasn't familiar with on the test, but this helped with the majority of the test.

this book covered everything I needed to pass the mammography boards and had a lot of information that my other study guides did not have.the mock review questions were very helpful. would highly recommend this book to use to pass the boards.

The book says that it comes with a CD Rom containing two online practice exams. I have not received any CD with the book.
