Good for light weight gaming
Played at a friends and on the back of that purchased. Not the most taxing game so good for kids and non-game playing adults alike - relatively simple concept to learn i.e. earn coins to be able to buy more business to earn more coins to complete objectives (and repeat) driven by dice mechanic (and therefore an element of luck so people who lose to blame). Routinely play with kids aged 7/10/11 who can all grab the concept and beat me (I blame it on the dice). This version includes the expansions which are interesting to have in terms of additional businesses/objectives but do not alter the game play.4 star rating based upon overall enjoyment vs other light weight games we own and prefer to play (i.e. Chinatown, Takenoko, Colt Express etc.)

Cards not consistent with the main game.
The cards are different sizes compared with the original game so therefore cant be shuffled into the deck. The cards contain printing errors; one card contains different descriptions on each side. Some cards have descriptions that are wrong, compared to the main game. The graphics on the cards are also different from the main game. The fonts used are completely different. It looks like a bootlegged product. If it isn't, it's very sloppily designed. A friend has this expansion and it's fine. This version looks like a knock-off.

Simple to play, good with groups
Quite a simple game to pick up and play - though it definitely works better with more than two people, as some of the cards don't really work with just two. There are a lot of random elements in the game, with the dice rolls determining how the game goes, but it doesn't feel unfair, as you can build your city around either specific numbers or for a broad range to catch all dice rolls.
