I have only landed one fish. But that’s not the rods fault. I have to say I’m very impressed this rod cast amazing and has a nice slow action. It has a beautiful brown coloring to it and cast like a dream. I highly recommend giving this rod a chance. I really think most products in fly shops are selling names not rods. I’ve used them and they are still good rods but for 1/4 the price this rod is a no brainer. And on top of that it’s amazon so if your not happy with the rod return it. I was given a small discount to try this brands product.Update: 9/18/20202Today I landed the second biggest fish on this rod. Fight was about 2 1/2 minutes. 17inch Rainbow out of the Colorado. The rod did amazing. Never once was I worried about it snapping this rod. The build quality is amazing and I’d recommend it to any one. I’ll include a few more pictures.

I've been fishing with this rod a couple times now and caught a bunch of fish in Colorado. I also bought the goture 4WT reel to go with it.

The media could not be loaded.  i’m still new to fly fishing. after picking up a kastking emergence combo to learn on, i ocd’ed like crazy and wanted another flyrod setup mostly for looks and also to test out a medium action rod before i fork out $$$ on some custom rods i been eyeing for.biggest concern was if the rod would feel cheap or cast poorly - but wow, looks great, specially paird with the goture reel i nabbed seperately. also casts awesssomeee. its a bit whippy, but it really makes my roll casting easier (i do a lotta roll casting cuz fly fishing urban environment has little space).i’ll definitely fish with this more and hopehopehope it doesnt break like from all the other reviewd... but hey if it does, means i can nab that sage setup right? :)ive attached a video of me roll casting and pickup/laydown casting - its not great but i like how this rod feels and unrolls my line out.pros:-reaaally cheap price-definitely medium action, whippy, roll casts are easier. good for beginner cuz i can feel the rod load-very pretty rod-nice rod case, tho im gonna use a seperate rod/reel case.cons-tip feels/looks fragile. maybe its cuz medium vs my kastking which is a med-fast rod.-wary of it breaking cuz of all the other reviewsUpdate: been a few weeks of continual use. the cork grip at the top started to get loose so i sent Goture an email about it and they responded in under 5 mins and sent out a replacement rod! Just got it today and it's awesome. great warranty and great communication! I was seriously thinking it take a few days to respond, or i had to pay some sorta fee or ship my rod back, but nope! that's super!udpate #2: still going strong. i have several rods in my quiver now including a moonshine rod and echo boost. i still fall back on the goture setup; its light and cant say enuff how easier it is to roll cast these vs my other rods. am thinkingg thats it for me, done buying 400-$500 rods. gonna stick w this rod for a while.

I was learning about fly fishing and I wasn't sure if this rod was going to be good or even work. Everything I read online said buy a good pole this one was cheap so I was worried it would be crappy. It was Not. I really like this pole the action is nice. it seems to be pretty durable at least as much as any other pole I've seen. Plus you can't beat that price. If your a new fly fishermen like me and your not sure about this pole I really liked it and I feel like I could spent 100 too 150 + and would get this quality. It's a good fly pole.

The only thing wrong with the rod is it slips out at the joints or connection of the rod, . Solved the problem, inserted thin piece of fabric in the whole,. First wet it and then let it dry into place . . Works for me.
