Overall a good product
Good product and works well for short term handling. As with any hot pad or oven mitt, it is not designed to hold a hot pan or tray for very long. It will protect your hands well while removing things from the oven or grill, but after holding a baking tray at 375F for more 5 - 10 seconds, you will feel the heat. My one complaint is that the silicone is a bit "sticky" when trying to put my hands into the mitt, especially if I am outside grilling and it is humid. A light sprinkle of baby powder fixes that, but it is a bit of a pain to have to do that every time I use them.

Good, but not without limitations.
They are almost great except for a flaw that makes these gloves merely OK. The flaw is that if you are baking at over 400 degrees the heat can be unbearable when pulling out a tray of baked goods. When baking french fries I found that I needed an additional towel to pull the tray because the heat was getting through the gloves. My wife thought they looked like rubber but they are silicone and will not melt at baking temperatures so that's a good thing. I just wish they had put a little insulation in them so they could be used by themselves.

Good, but not as heat resistant as I expected
PROS:*The 5-finger design is nice for more dexterity than a typical oven mitt shape*They get a decent grip on things. (They could also be used to help you open tight lids on jars.)*I like that they are waterproof so you could grab things out of hot water or use them to pull meat apart (for pulled pork, etc.)*Being silicon, they are easy to clean and dishwasher safe.CONS:*These are not as heat resistant as I expected. I could feel heat through them when taking a baking sheet out of the oven, so I can't imagine using them to handle cast iron or other hotter items.*It's hard to get the inside to dry after cleaning them, so I prop them open the best I can to drip dry.*The size is rather awkward: my husband found them too small to feel comfortable on his hands, and I find them a bit on the large size.

I will be glad to give honest feedback
I received this item at a reduced price because I am part of amazon prime. I will be glad to give honest feedback. This was meant to be a gift for the holiday, but my husband opened the box early. I have been wanting to purchase this item for some time as the cloth oven mitts don't always provide the protection that they should resulting in a skin burn. Once the glove is on it is easy to handle pans--especially cookie sheets without them sliding out of the hand. In addition the gloves provide protection against the heat. They do stick slightly and would recommend either using flour or corn starch on the hands to make putting them on easier. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Shaking my hand in a plastic bag with some corn starch helped a great deal in their removal
I rated gloves rated 5 stars because they fully met my expectations, although I have not yet been able to evaluate their total performance. They are somewhat thinner than other silicone mitts that I have tried, but that and their surface nubs do enhance their flexibility and grip. They may not provide long term protection at very high temperatures, but they have so far met my requirements.I wear L/XL men's gloves and I was able to slip these on without much trouble. Getting them off was a slightly different story, but shaking my hand in a plastic bag with some corn starch before putting them on helped a great deal in their removal. This trick may or may not help with prolonged use after you hands perspire.

Nice gloves, but are not convenient to put on.
These are a great idea. They don't burn, or really get dirty, because nothing sticks to them. The one down side is that it's like putting on rubber gloves, so your hands don't just slip in an out... You have to work your hands into them, which does not make them very convenient. However, once they are on, that allow better control when handling hot items going into or out of the oven. I can imagine other good uses for them as well, beyond the kitchen.

Easy on and off for everyday baking
I was skeptical of silicone after a few failures, but I've needed to replace my last mistake and orange is a good color for my kitchen. These go on easily, even one handed. They did protect against heat coming out of a 400 degree oven. After 30 seconds, I could feel the warmth enough that I wouldn't use them to hang onto something much longer, but that never really happens so I am happy with these and expect them to last for quite some time.

Hot gloves
They work just like they are supposed to. Grab boiled eggs right out of the pot. Pull the cookie sheet right out of the oven. No problem. The only difficulty is they are a bit small which makes them a little hard to get on since they are sticky silicone. Maybe some powder would help? If you have large hands (mine are not huge) these will be difficult to use.
