Dokken Bobwhite Quail Dead Fowl

This is the perfect trainer dummy, much better than the mini mallard bc the white is easier for the pup to follow and also easier to see in the woods and in thick cover!

I bought this dummy for a working ECS puppy. I wanted something realistic enough but also something that will stand up to time. My Brittany loves this dummy too. The fact it can be used for water retrieve and land retrieve is awesome. The first retrieve my dog picked it up by the feet and took a minute to get a grip. Next retrieve she took a second then figured out the body of the dummy was the best place. I could not believe that this design worked so well. She always not retrieves with body in the mouth. This transitioned to the field. If you need a good working dummy that is realistic as it can be while lasting a long time, and or you have a dog not picked the bird correctly, this will work wonders for you and you dog

Great size for my lab pup and full-grown guy. Very durable. Easy to toss (when you tie a knot at end of rope).

My German shorthair loves this thing, every time I get it out of the closet he starts jumping up and down and spinning while we walk to the door. Great training tool, broke him of the habit of shaking the bumper. I load it with scent and through it at night some to encourage him to use his nose.

I’ve done these before. Don’t let the dog chew on them. They are great but the one I got is not what is pictured. Which is why I gave it 4 stars. Still works. Hope my puppy will love it.

I liked it. My dogs did too. Seemed well constructed. Then I threw it in the lake at JBER. Looked so real, an eagle stole it. Fly away about a 1/2 mile into a big spruce tree. Damn it. Like throwing money in the wind! I don't think we will ever see that bobwhite again.

I purchased this for a new Labrador Retriever puppy. This Dokken is same quality that I had in the first ones so many years ago. Having multiple sizes is good addition to your training arsenal.
