A fun little pottery wheel
This is a fun little pottery wheel, its fairly easy to use and can be stored away when not in use. However, the motor is not the strongest so when you put pressure on the clay it can stop the wheel, which is rather annoying, especially when you are trying to center your clay. But having read reviews on similar items I fully expected this, and you just need to find a different technique and a lighter touch to center and work with the clay. The unit holds a charge, so you plug it in let it charge and can use it with out being tethered to a power source. As for the duration of the charge life, I don't know. The knob turns the wheel on and adjusts the speed from slow to fast. The toggle switches between clockwise and counter clockwise. The wheel itself can be removed, it is secured to the motor via a screw.Lastly a helpful addition I added was to take a round plastic container cut the sides down so I can still work at the wheel and cut a hole in the bottom for the bar the wheel sits on to go through. This will catch a lot of the excess clay that is flung off while working keeping your work area a little cleaner.

Broke after 2 uses
Luckily, it broke within the return window. I was using this for sanding which is very light on pressure, I have no idea how this would hold up to someone actually slapping clay onto it given the fact it broke after only two uses of barely applying anything to the surface. I would recommend paying a little extra and buying a more durable wheel.

Does not work like a pottery wheel should
Cannot use any pressure at all with this wheel. When you use even minimal pressure it stops. Very disappointed
