The light was more than worth the cost. I’m so pleased with my purchase. The battery life is excellent. I’ve done quite a number of nighttime reading and writing sessions since the first charge and it has not died yet. This is also with my toddler deciding to run around pretending it was a light saber a few weekends in a row. I forgot to charge it and it’s still going. I’m not using it every single night so I am not sure what the difference would be if that were the case, but I’m very pleased with the life. It has two settings, a low and a high but both are just enough and not too bright. It’s a warm yellow light, perfect on the eyes to not be disruptive like iridescent screens. It’s lightweight and clips on nicely to most books. It comes in a lovely little velvet-like case with the charging block and cord where you can store everything neatly inside. Would highly recommend.

First off, I really like this reading light! The only reason I gave it four stars is because I have nothing to compare it to as this is my first reading light.When I was first searching for a reading light, I was obsessed with finding the “best” one. Then I realized I’m not going to know exactly what I want out of a reading light until I try one out. Enter this reading light.Item description:The build quality seems pretty solid. The book clip is strong and the battery will last at least a few hours before you need recharging (I recharged mine long before the battery ran out). One thing I like is that the light is not hot to the touch even after half an hour of continuous use. That makes me feel like this product is pretty safe to use for extended periods of time. Finally, I chose this product because I wanted a hue of light that was easier on my eyes than, say, the warm light in my living room. This one only has two brightness settings, and the lowest is sufficient, in my opinion, to illuminate both pages of your standard size novel. Even at the brightest setting, I can read without disturbing my wife.Verdict:Overall, I’m quite satisfied with this light. I’m able to read until I’m sleepy without exposing myself to blue light. First, what does this do right? It's rechargeable, it offers a "non-blue" light, it is very light weight, it clips easily to where you want it. But the light is far too easy to turn on. The light panel itself can be depressed, somewhat like some car interior lights, in order to turn it on or off. For regular use, that is fine and even convenient. But it is also easy to turn on the light while it is inside the travel bag, have it get packed, and be dead when it is unpacked. Yes, it can be recharged, but it is important that it be available when you need it. I think an old school simple switch would have been a better design choice. If it wasn't for the ability to accidently turn this on without realizing it, I would not hesitate to give it five stars.

I love this light, except for the same thing I read in another review: the connection to the recharge cord is defective. The only way I can keep it charged is to tape the cord to the light, and even that isn't always successful. The connection of the cord to the light got so loose so soon after I got it that it should have been returned, but I just didn't have time. Otherwise, this would be a wonderful book light. It was so disappointing. I had so hoped the one I received would be okay. The light quality is so easy on my eyes and I like to read a lot, but it just isn't made correctly. What a shame!

This light is exactly what I needed in order to be able to read more than one or two pages before falling asleep. Previously I used a white LED and the brightness of the light made my eyes so tired that I was asleep within 10 minutes of starting to read. Once I started to use the amber light eye-fatigue was no longer an issue. I was a little worried that the light wouldn't be bright enough but I found that even the low setting is plenty bright to read in bed. I only wish I had found this light sooner.

I love this little thing. It has two settings, and the lowest one is great. I tilt it so it’s kind of diffused on my book. The warm, amber is the way to go for late night reading. I also love that it’s rechargeable, and the cord to recharge is insanely long, so I never have to be without the light.

I bought two of these for my daughters to read at night in bed because with the traditional lights they had more trouble falling asleep after reading. These lights don’t have that blue light and they fall asleep much easier now. Easy to charge and they work really well.

I have the white light version of this night light for many years, decided to try this one, it is also great. The light is yellow and less harsh, perfect for reading in bed. I use it every night for an hour or so, and bring it with me when traveling. The charge lasts for weeks. It is the best night light I’ve ever found.
