he ABC's of Success: Parables from Bob Proctor
Bob Proctor was a leader in the personal development field for decades before he starred in the viral movie “The Secret”. Although “The Secret” made him more widely known by the general public, Bob was a legend in the field and had years of experience dating all the way back to one of his earliest mentors, Earl Nightingale and Earl’s “The Strangest Secret” which was a personal development program on a record. If you search Bob Proctor on YouTube, you will find literally hundreds of videos that he is made over the years. Bob is blunt. If you are a knucklehead, Bob will tell you you’re a knucklehead, not to be mean, but because you need to know if you are to do anything about it. Then he’ll give you a little story and a way to change what you’re doing.“The ABCs of Success” is not a book with an overarching storyline. Rather it is more like a collection of Bob Proctor parables gathered from his decades of service to his fellow man. Each parable stretches for only a few pages and each may be consumed in a few minutes. There are a lot of them, and just like Aesop’s fables, each can be amusing or sobering and each ends with several quotes that reinforce the story.I read Bob’s book on the Paper White Kindle. The Kindle format makes it easier to enlarge the type for older eyes and it is simple to bookmark particular pages that I wanted to come back to and reread. I already have several stories bookmarked and annotated. One of them is is the chapter “Worry” about which he writes “92% of what you worry about never happens.” It includes the magical $2000 check. Another is “Tough Decisions”, Lincoln’s answer to critics. Still another is the “Quixote Attitude. (You’ll have to buy the book to find out what that is.)In one of Bob’s seminars, he mentioned that he carried a Moroccan leather bound copy of Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”. He said he read a little bit from it every day and after years of reading it, he still found new ideas. I believe that Bob Proctor’s “ABC’s of Success” may be such a gem.

One Book to Rule Them All
You're wrong if you think that The ABCs of Success is simply another motivational book; it is not. This book is the closest thing to having your very own multimillionaire mentor to personally guide you on your path to success. Bob Proctor has spent a lifetime becoming a master at his craft to become the world's foremost authority on helping others to achieve greatness. His knowledge and experience should not be called "self help"; but rather, should be called "help yourself". Because once you read through the pages of The ABCs of Success, you'll be able to scoop up success the same way you help yourself to mashed potatoes at a Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, and read it again so you can pour on as much gravy as you like too.By the way, I have read literally hundred's of motivational/self help books over the years. I am sure they have all helped me in some small way, but only three of them have had a profound influence on my achieving my own success. The ABCs of Success could have replaced all 3. This book belongs in every school, every hotel, and every home. But don't just read it; reread it. Then read it again until it becomes part of your thought process. Read the ABCs of Success today and help yourself to some heaping scoops of success!

Requried reading for the person going places
If you are a Bob Proctor fan and have watched and listened to much of his content online, you will want to read this book. Filled... no, stuffed and overflowing with new quotes, antidotes, stories, and perspectives to move you in the direction of your choosing. In fact, each page and word is so carefully selected as to read more like devotional; only possible to digest a little at a time. To read this book in one sitting, while possible, would leave the power of its content lifeless on the pages. But reading a little each day, or one needed thought every day will alter your mind and what you believe to be possible. If you've never heard of Bob Proctor, but feel that there is more to living. Maybe you feel deep down that you should be doing more, having more, influencing more but almost given in to the daily grind. You owe it to yourself to read this book, and if there is only one new thought that comes from it it will be more than worth it.

One of the best "Success" books there is, no question about it.
I thought this was going to be another "Law of Attraction" kind of book, where you just magically think things into existence. Unfortunately, that kind of book seems to be the norm nowadays. And most of us know, that's not how life works. Life requires hard work, dedication, action, busting through fear barriers, overcoming emotional letdowns and obstacles, and so on.In The ABC's of Success, Bob Proctor lays out exactly what it takes to be successful in every area of your life. The way the book is laid out is unique. It's in alphabetical order, listed by subject, such as Achievement. Bob pulls no punches. Tells you exactly what is required of you to be successful in virtually every given area you can think of. Yes, it does have a Law of Attraction twist, but Bob says that The Law of Vibration is the primary law we are working with. The Law of Attraction is a secondary law.All in all, fantastic book. Short but sweet. One of the best out there as far as this writing goes.

Tried and True Valuable Information
Awesome! My 31 year old son owns his on business. He is definately a visionary. He has visualized every step of the rapid growth of his company and it has all come to pass in a short period of time. A few, years of college, no degree. No real interest in going into the family business. A business that his grandfather started, his Dad took over and now he has taken over. He also started a side business, as a sub-company, within the same industry. I, on the other hand, have always worked for others and never in a job that I really wanted to do. I have always wanted to start my own business, I just keep getting stuck. "Failure to launch". So, he and I had a wedding about 3 hours away and I suggested we listen while traveling. We both were starved for motivation, encouragment and tried and true valuable information. So many truths we're reveled and others revisited. Thanks for a great trip!

This book is absolutely mind-blowing terrible
I am a big reader in the field of personal development and success, I typically read a book per week. Over the years I have read some great books written by authors such as Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Tony Robbins, James Clear, Brendon Burchard, Grant Cardone, Napoleon Hill, W Clement Stone and Dean Graziosi to name but a few. This book is absolutely mind-blowing terrible. The book is very poorly written and lacks substance. The sentence structure is illogical and make no sense. I'm really struggling to believe that this book was written by Jim Rohn.Looking at the positive reviews that others have given this book is making me questions whether or not I have received the same book that they have.

Cheaply made
The book is quite cheaply made, poor quality for the cost of the book considering others I’ve bought for the same price.
