I purchase this product to install tile on a wood subfloor second story. I was incline to use hardi backer but the hassle to carry them upstairs was enough to pay a little extra use the membrane. I have been setting tile for a long tile for a while I been meaning to use membrane but after this job, that’s all I will be using. It’s easy to cut and install. As long as you use the proper notch trowel, this product works great.

I got this a a alternative to the major brand I've used before, got it faster and cheaper and honestly I can't tell the difference, installed it as usual and got tile on it the next day, no issues, I think I found a great replacement at a lower cost

You can tell the molding process for this underlayment isn’t as dialed in as for the name brand stuff, but it’s structurally exactly the same. You are putting thin set under it and on top of it, basically making a cement board. So it’s going to work the same as the expensive stuff. I did 500 sqft a couple of months ago and the tile is solid.

Easy to instal but it’s not cheap.

So chi a great price. Bought at store in town and it costed almost 2x. Glad I found this on amazon. Super fast shipping. Works great. We’re replacing our tile floor. This helps the floor tremendously. Keeps it tough and tiles from cracking.

Nice product, a little stiffer then some but still easy to work with and cut
